We've had the strangest weather here in Texas. It was in the 80's, yes 80's!, this past weekend and on Monday. Tuesday was warm in the morning. So, the kids and I played in the backyard. A few hours later, I went to bring the trash cans in (Tuesdays are trash days) and the temperature dropped about 40 degrees and it was windy!

I collected our trash cans and recycle bin down the street two blocks away. I seem to remember doing that last week on trash day too.

Bill joked this past weekend about wrapping the palm trees to protect them from the winter weather and it was in the 80's. The kids kept asking if we could go swimming. We don't have a heated pool. So, that was definitely out of the question.
The tickets for the April and May Disney's Pirate and Princess Party dates went on sale today. However, we have opted not to attend this year. DS7 really wanted to see animals on his birthday. So, we are going to AK for his actual birthday. It is all a surprise for him. He probably thinks we are just going to the local zoo (Fort Worth Zoo). Boy, is he going to be surprised to find out we're going to WDW.

So far we have the following ADRs booked: Tusker House (Character Meal), Crystal Palace (Character Meal) and Sci-Fi (DHS). I tried for the Yak and Yeti for his birthday too, but it is all booked. Does anyone know if the week of April 21st will still have Spring Breakers? All the restaurants are booked up now. It is crazy.
We contributed to the Hannah Montana movie this past weekend. Bill and Will went on a boy's day out on Saturday. They saw the movie and then played putt-putt. Then on Sunday, Emily and I had a girl's day out. We saw the movie and then went to Chuck E. Cheese. All the kids are into Hannah Montana. Since the kiddos missed the Hannah Montana concert when she was in town, I totally forgot to get tickets until I heard them advertise on the radio. Bill and I are trying to make it work and get the kids to her concert in Houston. It is in March. We've found some tickets on Stub Hub, but they are still expensive.

We may have to split up if we all want to go, because Cole will need a ticket too. It is hard to find 5 tickets together. We'll see how it goes. We haven't promised the kid's anything in case it doesn't work. We'll just take a roadtrip. They'll probably thing we're heading to WDW.
