DIS Meet Dec 8 07

Thank you! Sorry again about your card. Were there any photos, besides the Pirate Night group photo, you needed? As many people on here, I'm sure some people could forward some photos. You could always photoshop Annette and yourself into some of them. I know you can be creative. Just an idea.

The photos that I know about are the ones from the Donald "Ducky" Williams sessions. One was me with him! :guilty:

:sad2: Sorry we can't help you there. I wish we attended that session. We heard great things about it afterwards from Robby, Tina & Stacy. I need to read the Navigator more closely next time. Bill did sit in on the auction. I have some candid photos of him chatting with people before the auction. I can post them if you'd like. We rode up in the elevator with him and his Dad. He was a very nice and down-to-earth gentleman. I felt bad for him at dinner. We had the same dinner rotation and there were always people at his table asking him to sketch characters.

Jennifer,
You'll have to let us know how you like the Tusker House character breakfast. We've never done them at the parks before, because we knew we'd get one on the ship. Now that they've scaled back onboard, J wants to do one at WDW. The pictures are awesome!!

:thumbsup2 I will give a dining review on the Tusker House Character Breakfast when we get back. Of course, I will take lots of photos to attach. Hopefully, the kids have recovered from our December trip. They told me I was banned from taking their photo for a year. I filled almost TWO memory cards. I still haven't started my scrapbook. I haven't been motivated for some reason. I hope to have it completed by our April trip. I don't want to get too far behind.

Bill comes home tomorrow. Yea! We are all ready to have him home for longer than a weekend. I haven't told the kids yet that he is going away again in February and March. I think they have gotten use to him travelling every so often for work. I haven't gotten use to it. I not only had Emily in bed with me the other night, but Will was in there too. Thank goodness we have a king bed. Oh and JJ (our DISdog) was by my feet. I don't know why we even bothered to buy him a doggie bed.

When you call to make your reservations think of us poor agents, I have been MIA due to mandatory 6 day weeks, planning our Disney gathering in Feb. and i managed to somewhat throw my back out playing WII bowling:scared:
In Feb. we are staying at AKL for 1 night, then 2 at the contemporary, then at All Star music for 2. This was my brilliant idea to save money rather than the contemporary for 5 nights.
The clothing that i lost because Randy put them in the dirty towl bin when we boarded the ship after St. Thomas has still not been found.... I just want to know where they went!
Has anyone else who bought something at the Art auction received their painting? I really want my sorcerer mickey!
Oh yeah....And Toy Story the musical is making it sooooo hard not to book!

Brack... I'm sorry that you lost some Important Memories :guilty: I don't have a picture of you With Ducky but I do have alot Of Ducky.. Here are a few if you'd like to save them..

I couldn't find enough chocolate here in the office to pay those of you who volunteered, so I had to do it myself. It's done--for now. NOW they're going to get me a digital copy of the tax map so that I can continue to highlight all of our various projects, programs and designated zones. I think I'm about to become the city map maker! Now, if I can find the time to do my real job around here, I might be able to get my annual report submitted no more than about three months after it's due.

I need a vacation!

:thumbsup2 We sail on the Wonder this September and can't wait to see it! Cole recently is into Toy Story and Toy Story 2. We have all the toys from when Will was younger. So, it is neat seeing Cole into it now and having Will pass the toys onto his little brother.

I was wondering if they'll show it while we're on the member cruise. When I looked at the info from last year, it seemed that they had special entertainment every night. I'm really hoping they at least have Toy Story also - especially since its a new show. This will be our first time on the Wonder, and until she starts doing some longer itineraries it'll probably be our last. (Hopefully they'll send the Wonder and Magic to some cool places when the new ships come out.):cool1:

Don't feel bad. We saw him at all three events and he says that he was taught never to say no, and he loves these scribbles he does. He does them every night but the last one. He aways has his sketch pad with him. He is a very lovely generous man, who loves what he does.

Jim and I had the chance to chat with him in the pool one afternoon. The older gentleman who was with him has a "thing for the ladies", and he was trying to pursue his social skills with me. Ducky came over to apologize and we started chatting. It was very interesting for me because I'm an artist. We talked about the changes in the style of animation over the years and how computer-generated animation has changed the face of movies. It was awesome to talk to someone who learned his art the way I learned mine, by doing what he liked to do. It was one of the high points of my vacation. And the older gentleman reminded me so much of my father-in-law that I had to laugh!

Hey All!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a question for you. I'm still trying to get all my pics together for my scrapbook and I was wondering if anyone got some really good ones of the sail away party?? I was just looking and we got a couple and that was about it. Robby mainly took them of the landscape as we left. I would be ever so grateful and if anyone needs any pics for any project, I'll be more than happy to send you whatever I have!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes
I also found out some exciting news this morning from DSIL. The wine that we had at Palo, Rose Regal (spelling?? :confused3 ), we can actually buy it around here!!! I'm sooooo excited!!!!!!!! I thought I would have to wait until we go back!!!! It will be like having a piece of the cruise we can have every night if we want to!!!!! :yay: :woohoo:

Sigh, a little down in the dumps here today. DS24 has decided to move out. He and his lovely GF (we adore her), went looking and found a nice apartment today. They filled out the app and are waiting for the credit check to come back...but it won't be an issue. He will be moving in 2 weeks :(. I know it was going to happen eventually but still. DS23 has been gone a while..but his move was gradual..first he went 400 miles away for college, but I saw him during breaks. He was AFROTC, so he after he graduated he was home for 2 months before he moved to CA.

DD11 had a meltdown today when she found out. She is not a happy camper. I was really shocked at her reaction, she so over reacted. I think I will send her to her grandmothers when DS is packing and moving.

WOOHOO!!! GO GIANTS!!! THEY DID IT. SUPERBOWL HERE WE COME!! :cheer2:

We saw more of DS after he moved out (he was also 24!) than we did when he lived home. Then he moved back in (with wife and child), and then out--and now we're all together in "our" house. Since his name is on the lease, I don't think he'll go anywhere for a while.

DD11 will get used to the idea, and it will give her a great place to get away from you and JoiseyDad! My sister and sister-in-law are almost the same age, and they were 10 and 11 when we got married and got our own place. It seemed like at least one of them was in our tiny apartment every weekend, and sometimes both of them were there.

WOOHOO!!! GO GIANTS!!! THEY DID IT. SUPERBOWL HERE WE COME!! :cheer2:
GO GIANTS!!! Best part is, I won the bet with my boss the football expert! Lunch at my choice of restaurant (in town) next week. This week will be too busy for both of us.

Beth
