DIS Ladies Only Trip January Mini Reunion

So... I am just curious... and bored.

Any of the DIS Ladies only girls want to get together for a mini-meet in January? I believe Catherine is already going to be in town the last weekend of the month so perhaps we can plan for that weekend? Doesn't matter to me though. Just seemed far enough out from Xmas for a good time. Hoping that Trish can catch up with us on this mini meet as well.

So....are you interested?

Where would you want to stay?

If we did Deluxe hotels that had daybeds or are willing to share a bed, would you be willing to go three to a room to share expenses?

Would you want to do the Pirate/Princess party?

My answers are: Yes, the Poly, Beach/Yacht Club, or Animal Kingdom Lodge, yes, and yes if others want to.

Anyone? Oh, and if you can think of other questions that might be pertinent at this point, ask away.

That's understandable and I would open to a DVC situation as well. Especially if it was the Beach Club.

The problem with FW is that its really hard to get around there if you don't have a car. That could be a particular problem if we're out partying.

I'm not saying everyone has to stay in the same place either. I'm just curious what people would be interested in.

a weekend would not be good for me after i factor in costs of car service and plane fare for a few days.

I would be interested. But I am not sure I could do it without my family. DH's B-day is around than and DD's B-day is the week after his.

And we are trying to do the Princess Party for DD. But I would be willing to meet up with you ladies.

We went last year the day after Thanksgiving and it was great. Had a hard time getting there cause we drove. Won't do that again with all the snow.

But the weather couldn't have been better. During the day it was in the low to mid 70's and at night it got kind of cool. Enough for a light jacket. Depending on where you are from and what you are already used to. lol

We did the MVMCP and loved it. Soooo much fun with the kids.
The decorations were great and the parks almost empty.

If someone had never been at that time I would highly recommend it.

I don't think I could make it at that time. Too many family obligations and it's a tight time for us financially. But I really think it would be great for next years ladies trip if that's what everyone wants to do.

As far as this coming January, for me there is no way I could go again so soon, so I will have to live vicariously through those who do go.

Larry & I have decided to definitely try for something in January or early February. We are going to sit down with his work schedule in the next week or so to pick the dates for our trip. I'll try to fit it in around these dates if possible. I'm so excited that he is interested in going - he has never been before. We may soon have another convert on our hands.
