DIS Ladies Only Trip 2007 WISH!

It must have been pizza night. We had it too. :rotfl: And I, too, only had two pizzas. That's really good for me.

Wendy, I wouldn't worry too much about the crackers. Its not like you sat down with a half gallon of ice cream, kwim?

I got my walking done for the week but I am still having a hard time with drinking water at home. I really need to work on that.

Weekends are hard because I get bored. I eat when I get bored. Stressed and bored.

Okay Tammy, I went today, for an hour and 15 minutes! :cool1:

Wendy, I had crackers last night too before bed!:sad2: But that's okay, I am back on track today!

Ok Jenna I think we are even now. I'm not doing anything this weekend but on Monday lookout....

I know we'd both better go or the Sarge will have out hides :scared:

I know what you mean Kat...I have a hard time on the weekends, I'm so focused at work that it's not too hard to stay on track, but at home where there's not much routine it's tougher.

 hang in there and don't stress :)

I wish that there were more choices for eating out that give me a satisfying meal for around 6-7 Weight Watcher points. I want to eat out for lunch but the only option is Subway and I had that for supper last night. :confused3

I have not had a very good weekend with dieting. I did okay for dinner last night, but then I ended up snacking again before bed. Then I got on the scale this morning, and I was back where I was at the beginning, so the pound and a half I lost the first week, I gained back this week. Then today I have just been eating like crazy, I don't know what is going on. So I have got to do extra good tomorrow. And I am worried about next week, with the kids being home on Spring Break, that means more snacking will be going on around here. :sad2:

Jenna, maybe you can try to have healthier snacks on hand, maybe even prepared in the fridge, for next week. That way, if you do extra snacking it won't be as bad.

Maybe the Y has extra things going on for Spring Break that you can take the kids to and you can get exercise in :confused3

The best thing though is make up your mind right now that you won't let it deter you. We all have to learn to live with the situations that tempt us to splurge or go for the convenience foods. If we don't, our results will only be temporary.

You can do this

I eat subway every day for lunch pretty much so I afraid I am not much help. I know somewhere there is a "fast food" list of what things are in WW points. I will see if I can find one for you.

Also, if you have a microwave Kelli, you might trying getting Lean Cuisine's or something. Not quite eating out but easy enough.

Jenna, try not to worry about what the scale said this morning. That's why we weigh once a week. Getting on that scale too much can drive you crazy. Little things can make it fluctuate, not even from your food intake. Just stay away from it til Tuesday.

I just realized that list only had four places on it Kelly. I will try and find another one. I know I have seen one with a huge list before.

I know I shouldn't get on the scale too much. It does drive me nuts.:headache:

Thanks for the support Kat!:goodvibes

Well they say misery loves company, I'm right here with ya. I have been really bad this weekend! Friday I had a small mint oreo blizzard from Dairy Queen and yesterday I had a piece of cheesecake :confused3 Other than that I haven't done too terrible with eating but those 2 things were enough to blow the whole week. Plus- no exercise this week, not once! I am getting back on track today! I am working at my old job for 12 grueling hours today with only small bathroom breaks so I have controlled food! and I will be so exhausted when I get off from the complete and total boredom that I will just go home and fall fast asleep instead of eating dinner! I do not look forward to getting on the scale Tuesday, I am sure I have put all of my 2 lbs back on from last week :sad1:

Sounds like you are going to have a long day today Kendra.

As far as the cheesecake and the blizzard, I'm not saying everyone should eat those each week, but I really don't think it will have "blown your week" You have to look at the overall picture. Try to think of the week as a whole. Obviously, yes, its better if you don't have the blizzard and the cheesecake but it really may not make as big a difference as you think.

On WW, well, the version I have done, you get 35 flex points each week. I looked up a blizzard, a small one, and that was 13 points. A piece of cheesecake, what I looked up for Cheesecake Factory since its the first place I could think of that had cheesecake, would be 17 points. So I would still have 5 "flex points" left and those two things would not have brought down my weight loss for the week.

I hope that can help put it in perspective a little better.

Well, I can join those of you who have deviated a little. I was doing pretty good during the week, and then yesterday I baked. I ate more than I care to think about. :sad2: I'm not getting on the scale until Tuesday. Today will be better.

During the week I also did not find the time, or energy to walk. I actually could walk when I get home, but haven't. This is a fairly stressful time for me right now, and walking would help. I also have a very expensive exercise bike sitting right behind me, collecting dust. We bought it over a year ago, when we lived in Maryland. I feel guilty for that purchase every time I look at it.

Thanks for being here. :grouphug:

Here it is. Tons of restaurants. I have posted on this site before. Its a good spot for people doing WW and not actually paying for it. ;) The list is about halfway down the page.

Thanks for the list Kat. She has a really good website. Several years ago I lost 14 pounds on the WW program, of course I put it all back on when I stopped counting points. I may end up going back to WW at some point.

Sounds like this week-end has been rough for some. Myself included. The last two days have been especially tough. BUT I am back on track today and am eager to see what the scale says on Tuesday.

Remember even if all you do is lose a pound a week, those will add up over time. So keep at it. And try to ask yourself before that first bite what is more important to you. Losing the weight and feeling good and looking good, or eating that chip, or cookie or whatever.

Try to get a mental image of yourself doing the things you used to do with ease back when you were thinner. Swimming, playing with your kids, wearing something naughty for your DH. And then remind yourself that the thrill and satisfaction from that will far out weigh any temporary comfort you will get from food.

Then walk away. Go read. Call a friend. Grab the kids and blast some music. Sit on your hands. Do whatever you have to do until that craving passes.

Also like someone else said, it's not the snacking that's so terrible, but what you are snacking on.

If you were a recovering alcoholic you wouldn't keep Grey Goose in the house. You wouldn't keep any alcohol in the house. So since some studies have proved that food can be just as addicting, don't keep tempting snacks in the house.

We all know what tempts us. For some it's cake, for others it's chips. Those are the foods you just need to keep out of the house. Period.

Anyways, don't let a rough few days get you down. This is a life time plan and there will be those days. We just need to rebound and get back on track.

Oh yeah, and Kat's right! Stay away from the scale during the week!!! LOL Only on Tuesdays. Don't make me have to call the Sergeant.....:rolleyes1

thanks for that Kat, that made me feel better! And it was cheesecake from the cheesecake factory! I would normally have a large blizzard so I thought I did good by getting a small, which was plenty to satisfy a craving!
