DIS Ladies Only Trip 2007 WISH!

I could use a bit of my own advice. I am really :furious: about a situation at my son's school and I would love to take that out on my pantry about now. :sad2: So, here I sit instead!
I've been away for a few days- life gets in the way and all that good stuff. I hope by now whatever was bugging you with the school has been resolved

Tammy, I went to the gym today, I am up one on you!

We all will have our bad days or situations but as long as we move on
and not continue, we'll be okay. :thumbsup2

I'm not good at peep talking on line but
Go ahead guys - today is another day.!!
Peep talking? Is that a subliminal message directed at Tammy to make her crave more peeps?? :lmao:

;)

Update on the "kitty" $90 in the main, $50 in the mini. Thanks Beth.

Cleaning out my PM box for tomorrow. I hope everyone has a good weigh in. :)

That's great Kat and I still have not sent mine but I also didn't make it to the bank today. I was planning on going today (my day off) but it's March break and I was really busy all day with the kids. Now that my Mom is watching the kids for the rest of the week and I dont' have to rush home from work to catch the bus, I can stop on my way home tomorrow night. I should have it sent out tomorrow or the day after.

I have been doing something that is supposed to be forbidden when dieting - weighing myself everyday (sometimes twice!).

I know that weight can fluctuate in very irregular ways but I always keep this in mind when I step on there. At night, my weight is consistently 4-5 lbs heavier than it is in the AM.

I find it motivating, regardless of what the scale says and it helps to keep me on track all week. If it fluctuates up, I work harder (add a walk or cut down any extra snacking), if it is down, I am motivated to work harder to see it go down more by weigh in day.

What I would like to do is get some digital scales. I find it quite difficult to get a steady reading on this old fashioned kind - it seems to hover back and forth of the mark. Are digitals better for that? :confused3

The WISH money was mailed this morning from the Beach Club.

It comes with a suggestion for exercise at WDW. Please make sure you get the money out! It could get lost in there.

And I had trouble finding something to write on, didn't bring paper from the room. Geez it's tough to write while you are walking.

You didn't walk from the Beach Club to the Adventurers Club, did you? :rotfl:

No problem Kelly. :goodvibes

Kelly, I am the same way. I weigh every day, which is why I freaked out this weekend. But I agree with you, it motivated me to work harder the next day. And I try never to weigh at night, like you it is about 3-4 pounds more than in the morning. I have a digital scale (I think) it gives me the pounds and the half pounds.

As expected I gained weight this week, close to 1.5 lbs :guilty:. I continued with my bad behavior Sunday and Monday. I picked up a pizza on the way home from work Sunday night and by Monday afternoon had eaten the whole thing! It was delicious :rolleyes1 Not to mention that I drank several sodas over the weekend. I am paying for it now, I feel all bloated and icky. I hope I have learned my lesson since I realize how much better I feel when I leave the sodas out of my diet, and when I don't eat so much :rotfl: I am super tired right now, I don't know if I can force myself to exercise when I get home or not. I really need to but my energy level is at 0! All I want to do is crawl in bed and sleep!

I hope the rest of you ladies had success this week! :wizard:

Today starts a new week! I did stick to my eating plan last night, so I at least have started this week off okay. Maybe when I get outside in the pretty sunshine I will wake up and feel like exercising :yay:

:cheer2: Good luck this week ladies :cheer2:

Good for you for getting back on track yesterday Kendra.

I lost 1.5.

I have one goal this week and that is not to gain back the 2.5 I lost while we're at WDW. I don't "diet" at Disney, but I don't need to go overboard either.

We start out Thursday night at Boma, so this isn't going to be easy. :guilty:

I knew coming back here would help. I lost 1.5 lbs this week. I am also going to start back at Curves today.

Good luck everyone. Remember if you lost too cool, but if you gained this is the time to begin again. There are always ups and downs. I learned this the hard way on our last challange. Have a nice day everyone.

Well, I knew it wouldn't be a good week for me. LOL Like just about everyone here, I struggled last week big time.

But I did manage to lose a pound so I am now at 279, which brings my two week weight loss to 5 pounds total. So, I am ok with that. A pound is still a pound and they will add up.
I just want them to add up in the lost pile, not the found pile!! :)

I hope no matter what number the scale has for you all today that you keep on track and keep your spirits up. We can do it. Slowly but surely.

Beth, you're going in the right direction. Anyone who gains this week, just move on and try again.

We dont want the sergeant making an appearance!!!

Well, that is too damn bad. I am back. I will be back every week to keep all your butts in line.

As you know today is weigh in day. For some that will bring a small victory. For others you will not like what you see on the scale. But it won't matter because either way you will not give up.

If you did not lose any weight, you will not falter!! Do you hear me??
What you will do is dig deep and find that strength that is inside you and you will push ahead.
You will come back and attack stronger and more forceful than before, with more determination than ever.
Get mad dammit, and use that anger and frustration to help you win this war on weight.

For those who did lose, you will not sit back and rest in your glory. You too will push ahead and continue to focus on your goal.

This week will be a better week. I want to hear about healthy snacking! I want to hear about working out! I want to hear about glass after glass of water! I want next Tuesday to come around and hear that everyone has lost something!!

Come on ladies!!!! You can do this!! Get motivated! Get fired up! Use that energy to keep you on track!!

Now, let's march!!!!

Move it, move it, move it!!!!

Ladies, ladies I'm in doubt, (Ladies, ladies, I'm in doubt)

I mean, um, Sergeant, good to see you.

Update on the kitty. Since I forgot my $20  in my calculations last night and a non-competitor is offering a donation as well. Thank you undisclosed non-competitor. ;) Currently at $110.00 and $50.00.

HI ladies.. Well I have been trying to walk more. The weather is getting nicer and I live 6 blocks from the school. So if I walk to and from there pushing a double stroller that is a start.. Hard part is the eating.. I'm a bad eater. I try but I can go all day and forget to eat then sit down and eat too much too late at night. I need to quit doing this... Good luck to everyone these next couple of weeks.. Its gonna be a hard weekend for me since we are going away for a hockey tournament near Saginaw... Thats eating out all weekend..:scared1:

Well, I feel for those of you that did not lose this week. but don't let it get you down. Just imagine these feelings that you are having and tell yourself that when you step on the scale a year from now, you dont' want to be having these same feelings.

Lately, I have been thinking back to all the times that I have attempted weight loss and did not succeed...all the way back to high school and I know that one year from today, I don't want to have that same sense of failure. I want to feel hope that I am very close to a healthy weight and be working towards maintaining that. :goodvibes

I lost 4 lbs again this week. I am stockpiling now for when I hit my first plateau.

I lost five pounds this week. Before anyone gets excited, it's only because I have so far to go. I didn't follow any certain plan, but rather tried to monitor my portion sizes and be reasonable about it. When I went to the mall to pick up Peter Pan, I walked a few laps pushing the stroller. We ate a lot of take out but I tried to keep my portions somewhat reasonable. Of course that all went to hell in a handbasket on pizza night #2  . This week is Lilly's surgery, so I will be spending 2 days minimum at the children's hospital. I'm going to try to not eat just because I am bored, but I will have very limited access to food- hospital cafeteria and Friendlys as I will not leave the grounds while my daughter is in the hospital. I am just trying to be good the rest of the week and not go too overboard those few days. On the exercise front, it is SOOOOO nice out here today- like 50 degrees!! I was planning on walking with the kids but had a little mishap this morning. Went to move some papers off the counter and snagged the cord for the griddle. That *B* landed on my foot. There was lots of blood and to say the least my foot hurts quite a bit. I'm taking Ibuprofen 800 and icing it and trying to keep off it today. I am pretty sure at least two toes are broken but there's not much to be done for broken toes. I agreed to call my doctor tomorrow if the foot part still hurts and have an x-ray to check for any possible fractures. So long story short, no walking for me today :sad1: I will just be happy to not put back on what I lost this week.
