Dis husband swap

Okay, I've read about stroller swaps and Pal Mickey swaps and think they are really cool. Well I think I have a commodity that might be desirable by others, and I'm willing to share to make others life easier!

My item is my husband. He LOVES Disney, he is rarely grumpy, he never orders his own food, he eats only our leftovers so we can sample more treats, he's agreeable to whatever plans I make, and takes the kids for a swim when I need a nap. If you have a kitchen available he makes a mean omlette. To top it off girls HE'S HANDSOME!!!!(and has no idea I'm doing this but I'm sure he'll be fine with it. I said he's agreeable, right? And he'll get more time at Disney )

I will need him Aug 7 - Aug 21. I'd actually like him to travel with us, so I guess I should change that to Aug 6 - Aug 22.

I'm tempted! I'm really, really tempted! LOL! My DH goes down to WDW only because I leave him no other choice. haha

That's soooo nice of you to offer your DH... let's see, I'd like to sign up for our July 15-18 trip. I'll test him out and if he works, I'll also sign up for our October trip!

Oh, and does this mean you get my DH during those dates???? haha

Deb, Great idea!!! There will be alot of undone yard work if I'm left on my own. If we could get women with husbands of varing skills I might get quite a bit accomplished this summer.

Oh how I would LOVE a husband who loves Disney. Mine is o.k. with it but he can take it or leave it. Other than that though, he's a pretty good guy. I guess I better keep him.

No, I'm just kidding, my DH is actually pretty wonderful. He hadn't really traveled before he met me (at least not for pleasure.) He was a truck driver for awhile but he couldn't really enjoy any of the places he went to. We've taken a vacation every year since we've been together and at first he'd get really nervous about the money we spent until we'd get home with money left over. Now he trusts my travel budgeting a little more. As a matter of fact when we were talking about where to go this year he suggested WDW. So I am truly a very happy wife.

I was laughing so hard at this, my DH yells from the other room to see what I'm laughing at.

I'd even take a Pal Mickey in trade for him. He's just too much work. But then again he doesn't go anywhere without me so I guess that won;t work.

This is really funny! I would like to add my hubby to the swap. He just loves Disney The only catch is he wants to do it all!! Do everything you can and then some! And he loves to spend the money while we are on vacation. So if money isn't a problem and you want to do it all, mine is the one to chose. I would like in exchange one that will do some painting for me, are the any out there?

Ok, I'm interested in doing the swap with you DH likes Disney, but, your DH sound more fun Here is what I have to offer, DH is the perfect handyman he can fix almost anything. He's great fixing up things around the house, computers and cars. This I guarantee will save you lots of money during the week that he will be spending with your family He can also cook gourmet, you can look foward to having lobster, shrimp,salmon tuna and angus filet with a roquefort sauce. Also, get ready to gain some weight, because, he loves to make desserts like chocolate lava mini cakes, chocolate swirl cheesecakes, lemon pies,chocolate chip cookies and my favorite rapsberry white chocolate cheesecake. He can only make these on special occasions and he has to get my approval before making them. So, I am sure that he will be more than happy to manifest his culinary skills while at you house. I almost forgot to mention that he is very skinny and he doesn't eat much all you need in you house to make him happy is chocolate flavored QUIK and milk. I wil be needing your husband from OCT 4-10. Pick Me! Pick Me! I really need to swap husbands for my upcoming trip. My dh has never been to WDW with us...in fact he has never travelled anywhere with my ds and I. He's very technical so he'll get all your vcrs to stop flashing 12:00....he may even install a satellite or security system while he's there.

I only have one ds and he hardly ever drools so we promise to keep him clean...we'll even start a scrap book and add a picture and story of us enjoying your dh. We will have to find an alternative to the lime green ribbons as they may get too tight after awhile......maybe lime green lanyards!!

I think you are really on to something here !

Oh yeah my dates are Sept.27-Oct.11...and we would also need him for two weeks in Jan'05.

tmli and bridgettesmom, your dates are over lapping. Maybe you could team up?

My husband is a sports lover. He could watch or coach sports endlessly so I will have a lot of chores ready and waiting. He also is a Mechanical Engineer in his spare time. He can build me a robot or a great conveyor belt, but I can bugger my computer up in a way that has him crazed. ("Lisa...stop downloading things!!!!") I can't wait for summer. Sounds like I'll be giving my Internet server tech support a breather!!! They actually know me by name.

Gourmet meals and desserts...PERFECT. Does he clean up after? I love to bath immediately after a good meal and would like the kitchen spotless when I'm done!

Looks like all electronics in my house will be tweaked to perfection. I think I'll just need a mechanic and I'll be completely covered!

The scrapbook would be a touching keepsake that will keep the memories alive for years to come!

The two exchange husbands sitting on the couch and watching the game while you serve them beer and chips. Or the 2 of them disappearing to the golf course and leaving you to do all the chores. DHs tend to do that when they run in packs...
