DI's Holiday Delights Tour

# How many people are in a group? I think they only allow 40 people per tour. Seems I read that somewhere. We didn't fill one bus.

# Is there a special viewing area for Osborne Lights? No, you are right in the mix with anyone. You do walk around and our guide tells you a lot of trivia about the Osborne Lights. You were little ear "things" so you can hear your guide even if you are a little separated. You wear this on and off throughout the tour.

# You mentioned attractions, do you go on rides during the tour? I should have said parks. You don't go through the gates like everyone else but enter backstage. We didn't do any rides.

# How does this tour save you so much time? The fact that they bus you from place to place. No having to ride the Disney buses, or walk out to your car. You don't have to go through the main entrance and wait in line etc. In one night we went to one of the buildings that stores Christmas decorations, see the Osborne Lights, castle lighs in the MK and watch the Candlelight Processional at Epcot (plus have cookie and hot chocolate :) It was really weird to be walking right up main street toward the castle as the parade is about to start. People lined up must have wondered who the heck we were.

# I assume you're on a Friendship from Epcot to DHS, but what about to MK? Disney buses for the whole trip. While you are going between locations your guides are telling you different bits of trivia.

Where did you see it mentioned for this year? Last year they said they might add dinner to the tour so I was wondering if that is mentioned in the description.

PS we also did the Yuletide Fantasy Tour because we don't know when we wil get back at Christmas and didn't want to miss a thing. The Holiday Delights Tour was our favorite but this one does take you to a warehouse and has a lot of trivia.

Amyy - Thank you so much for all of your answers. It sounds like an incredible tour and I would really hope we have the opportunity to do it.

I haven't seen any info for the 2010 season. I just noticed the tour listed on WDWInfo.

Pacpl, I'm glad you bumped this, my son and his gf really want to take it this Dec.. I am a bit concerned about food - if it starts @ 4:45 and ends @ 9:30, not sure what we'll do. Plus, for some reason I assumed it ended @ Epcot and we could have a late dinner somewhere there, but it looks like it ends @ DHS.

We went last year and felt that it was the worst Disney tour that we have ever taken.

We were split up into 2 groups of 20 with a Guide each. The warehouse was interesting but our Guide didn't know anything about it. We missed the castle lighting and fought the crowd to get to the bridge at Tomorrow Land where we stood and looked at the castle for 15 minutes. We left that location and waited for the other group in a alley for about 20 minutes.

Next we went to DHS to see the Osbourne lighting ceremony. You guessed it, we were late and missed it. They took us through the crowds in a circle and we left for a backstage area where they gave us a cookie and a cup of hot chocolate.

Candlelight Processional was next. We were seated at the rear of the theater to watch the performance.

After the performance we left the theater had a short question and answer session and the tour was over.

Other than the warehouse and riding on the tour bus, all of the activities could have been done without being on an official tour.

This year they have included a small meal at one point in the tour.
