Ok, I've got a new countdown so it's time for a new body (again :rotfl: ), after a couple of great holidays and a disasterous time keeping to my diet, I am now fully refreshed and ready to start again. The girls are back to school on Wednesday, so I'll dig my exercise video out again. My target is 9st 4lbs (I'm not going as mad this time, cos when I was in WDW in May my b**bs had vanished - I didn't like that). I'm 9st 12lbs today so that gives me 8lbs to lose in 15 weeks

I hope that everyone has done well this past week and good luck for the next week too

Hi
Well only another 8 weeks to go and i've still got 1 stone to lose but i don't think this is going to happen, stayed the same this week.
Kids go back to school today so hopefully i'll be able to get back on track.
Good luck to everyone this week.

Tracy

Well I was dreading coming back and seeing how much weight I had gained after my 2 stone weight loss, but I was thrilled to bits, to find out I had only gained 1 lb yahoooo!!!.

Still I am back on it today as I still have another stone I would like to lose.

Good luck for the week everybody

Sue

Well done to those who have lost. I am bowing out for a couple of weeks as I am too into holiday mode now (even with 2 weeks to go). I will rejoin you on my return at the end of September :)

GOOD LUCK MANDY, TRACY & SUE. HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY WILMA-BRIDE!!
I LOST 2 LBS THIS WEEK WHICH PLEASED ME NO END!! I'VE JUST JOINED A GYM SO HOPEFULLY THAT WILL HELP! HAVING FRIENDS ROUND FOR A MEAL ON SAT THOUGH SO NEXT WEEK'S WEIGH-IN WON'T BE SO GOOD!!!(Must remember to take the flipping CapsLock off!!!!!)

Well I always struggle to get back on track after a holiday. I usually think "Well I've just had to come back from Florida, I deserve a few nice treats for a week or two" and then the week becomes a month, then it's Christmas so I can;t start then, then my birthday in mid Feb so can;t start then, then Easter ....

You get the picture I am sure ;)

However, got back on the bandwagon yesterday - still jetlagged and all!!! I was quite proud of me :teeth:

No idea how much weight I put on at WDW, not much I don;t think though my shorts were a tad tighter at the end of the holiday than they were at the start ;)

Mandy I so know what you mean. I have never got to what you might call my "ideal" weight but where I was 5 years ago was perfect - I lost a bit more and then did not really feel like "me" any more. If that makes sense.

Well done everyone on your losses and good luck for the week ahead. After getting back to work after 3 weeks off today, I think I'm going to need some luck :teeth:

Well done everyone who has lost this week an stayed the same. Di your doing really well. I have lost a further 1lb this week, taking my total to 3 and half stone  Would love to loose another 1/2 stone by christmas.

Good luck everyone for the week ahead :)

Michelle

Thank you Michelle but it's YOU who are doing fantastically!!!!! That really takes some doing! I'm hoping to follow in your footsteps!!

:flower: i only put 2lbs on this week, not bad after our camping trip to cheddar and harlech!! so i'll have to try and get that off for next week as i really want to get to my 1st stone loss :wizard:

:cheer2: Well done Tracy for not putting any weight on. Sue I cant believe you've been away and only put on 1lb - thats brilliant. Wilma-bride well done with your losses and enjoy your last minute planning and have a fab holiday. Di well done with your 2lbs and good luck with the gym (you're braver than me). Karen, fingers-crossed that you haven't put too much on after your brilliant holiday. Michelle well done on reaching that 3 1/2 stone target thats great, good luck with that final (and difficult) last 1/2 stone and well done Netty for only putting on 2lbs after your break

I'm really impressed, good luck for the coming week

Welll done all especially Shellbell wow! 3 and a half stone, how long has it taken? Since finishing my decorating which helped me drop 6lbs in just one week I've had a horrendous summer cold so have been picking a lot at rubbish food! I'm still hovering around the low 13st mark which I know is terrible, but there you go, I admitted it! The funny thing is everyone who knows me says 'I'd say you were about 11 - 12 stone' (and thats not people who try to be kind) so I sort of nod and blush not wanting to admit I'm much heavier, still I started the year at around 14 st 4lb so I'm hoping I'll never see 14 again!

Carol - weight is a funny thing, we never want to admit it do we?

Mine is more than yours though :teeth:

Carol i started my diet back in January and i then weighed 14stone. It has been really hard work and i am struggling now as some days i don't feel like i have lost any weight at all. When i started i thought if i could juct get to 10 and half i would be pleased, but now i would just like to shift a little more. I need to do some exercise more than anything now,but i just can't get motivated.

Michelle

3 and a half stone in 8 months is brilliant but you do have the advantage of youth on your side (which is my excuse for being slower!!!) I've tried and tried over the years to lose weight without success but this time I've been doing exercise every day which is totally alien to my nature!! But it's the first thing that's worked in years. I started by walking every day then swimming and now I've joined a gym just to vary the activities. It is a hard slog but you must be so proud of yourself and you deserve to!!

Well done to those of you who have lost weight.

I lost 2 stones last year in preparation for this July's holiday. I did it by following the good foods suggested by Gillian McKeith plus calorie counting.

I downloaded this great programme called Diet Assistant which makes calorie counting really easy. It has a lot of foods pre entered but you can add your own. It is broken down into the different nutrients with daily targets for each nutrient. You enter your target figure and the target day, current weight. It then works out how many calories you need to eat a day to maintain a steady weight loss. It also adds extra calories intakes if you do exercise. There is a section on exercise, you enter the time spent doing a particular thing and it works out how many calories you used. You can also enter your own activity if you have your own calorie counting bike, ski machine, etc.

It just made calorie counting so much easier. Also because I had a year to lose the weight it didn't put me on a low calorie count so I found it very easy to follow. By having foods already entered, or your own product entered the once, there was none of that working out to do, all you have to do is the weight and it works it out. Things like fruit are already on as an item so you just pick the appropriate size and enter that.

There are also charts so you can see yourself approaching the target.

Just thought I would mention it because I found it so easy to use and it successfully helped me lose weight.

Thank you Bev - that sounds like a really helpful site. I'm not calorie counting at the moment but I know there'll come a time when the remaining weight refuses to budge so that will be really useful. Do you have the web address please?
