My first post on this thread! I need to book my passage, so I'd be grateful if someone could spare me the trial of having to search through 35 pages by answering a couple of questions.

1. Those arriving on Friday - what time are you planning to get there?
2. Which train station do I need? Southampton Central?

I don't think everyone has said what time they are arriving yet but those who have said lunchtime.

Not sure about the station I hadn't thought about there being more than one!

I will be working in the morning, so probably won't leave here until around 2pm, arriving around 3 ish. It's about the same journey time for me whether I go by car or train. I haven't decided which yet. I didn't realise there was more than one station either!

You need Southampton Central as Southampton Parkway is the Airport stop which is one stop away.

I got an invitation to a wedding in Germany for that weekend. My cousin is finally getting married. No, I am not going. I would not miss the Girly Weekend for the world. I have had next to no contact with my cousin and his family since I moved to the UK 14 years ago and we have nothing to say to each other. Our weekend does however provide a handy excuse for not going. At least I can say that I had made plans for this weekend months ago.

Yes, it will be great to meet the people from last year again and meet some new people. I have to come. I have Karen a big favour to ask when she comes back from holiday and if she is willing, we can only pull this off if I come to the Girly weekend.

I could still kick myself that I did not buy something at one of the ports, so I am hoping that if I equip Karen with some Euros and a prepaid envelope, she might be able to pick it up for me and post it to me on her return to England. I do not trust Royal Mail with money though.

I've just read through the last few pages since I have been away, does anything need amending from the above list ?

Right, I have emailed Flares and Reflex about their party packages and TGI Friday's too (they don't usually take bookings on Friday and Saturday evenings, and I don't want us to turn up and have to wait for free tables, I have asked if we can make deposits to get our table booked), so hopefully I'll hear from all of these over the next day or two

I have also sent Michelina and Rob a PM, and posted a message on Facebook to find anyone who lives in Southampton, to find out if there are any restaurants near Reflex for the Saturday night, otherwise we may need to think about Frankie & Benny's then get a taxi up to Reflex after. Hopefully someone will get back to me soon
