Really?? I assumed everyone did it TBH. I do it all the time and have done since I was a teenager - some of my fave styles I 'created' myself.

Anyway, I'll be seeing the professionals next Wednesday. I'll see what Richard thinks about the short choppy style and take it from there.

I'll trim my fringe when I'm desperate, but that's about it

I hope Richard likes the 'do', I bet it will make a nice change

Hi ladies,
havent been onto the thread in ages and will try and catch up with it all promptly, wow 7 days, where did the time go?? I have tons of leftover alcohol from my party next weekend so thats covered, I have a nice glow of tan from ibiza so one more thing covered, I defo dont have time for a haircut so you'll have to take me as i amand i still dont know what I'm packing but I'm sure it will all come together.
I am in a touch of pain at the mo, I thought I had just chipped my tooth about a week ago, and since a couple more teeny fragments have come out, so now i have quite a serious ache and i cant get an appt anywhere in town till next thursday!!! luckily its a tooth near the back so i an not deformed or anything, its just a pain in the bum nagging ache Fingers crossed i will be my happy bright self next weekend.
Oh yes i have had no hot water or heating for a week now as well, the gas guy tried several different remedies and hopefully monday will finally give me my system back. We are rotating the bathrooms of our loved ones for now
anyway, apologies for my waffling on, will see you all this time next week, most of you anyway, and i will catch up with this thread now!!

Hey Claire, it's great to hear from you. I'm so jealous that you've got a tan, my has disappeared due to our lack of summer over the last few weeks, and it sounds like you've got your alcohol covered (got to get those priorities right eh ? )

I know what you mean about the tooth ache - I've just developed an abscess in one of my back teeth over the past couple of days. But I don't "do" dentists...

You know what though?! Drinking numbs the pain - so more wine right!!

I've just chopped off about 6" using the "head-upside-down-with-hair-twizzled" method!!! Anyway, it feels so much better that I'm definitely up for having a style change..

Goodness, you are brave. I would not dare taking scissors to me hair. I am glad that you like the shorter length though.

I am sorry that you are having such a rough time. You defintely have deserved a weekend away and some drinks.

I don't exactly like the dentist either. In fact I had 10 years between two appointments, because I am so terrified of the dentist. Once you have an absess, it is definitely time to get it sorted though. They have the nasty habit to spread and cause much worse trouble. I keep my fingers crossed for you.

I keep my fingers crossed for some decent weather.

Graham offered that I can take his Netbook down to Southampton with me. It will be a bit of a shock to the system to work on a Windows based computer, but it is much smaller and lighter than my MacBook. So that decision is made, the computer is coming.
