DIS-functional Wonder Peeps Part III revisited

:thumbsup2 Nice mug Bets!

Guess I am on the other side eh!?:confused3 ;)

Annie :yay: Yep Stymie accepted other gig. Starts next week. Tomorrow we go house hunting. SOOOOO not looking forward to it.

Gound a great place on 2 acres with a 2 stall horse barn!:woohoo: :rolleyes1 Stymie said no.  The man is gonna lose the war. Just give up already man!

Some peeps are gonna look at my house tomorrow.:sad1:

We will be out of contact most likely so I won't be posting much for the next few days. Will be home on Wednesday.

Everyone take care!

Mornin' peeps!

Gert - hope all goes well on your trip! Fill us in when you get home!:thumbsup2

Betsy - sorry you are cold down there! That must be really unusual for ya'll...but at least it's just a quick cold snap for you...for us, it's here to stay!:sad2: Do you guys not even HAVE heat?:confused3

we have heat, but I don't like it..i will use it to take the chill off in the morning but we had our heater catch fire in the attic when I was a kid, so the whole burning smell when you kick it on, freaks me out

we have no heat in the office

We are getting another cold front this afternoon..suppose to have winds 15-20mph and drop into the low 40's out by us. We also have a frost warning but my rose bush died so nothing to worry about

Boy a bunch of Chatty Cathy's! Be gone for a few days and miss alot.

Betsy (and Beano) that video is AWESOME!!!!! Beano's videos are always a work of art in my opinion, but this one is uber-good. Sorry you are getting the cold. Must be hard on your thin blood. I wish I could send you our dry heat. Been 77-91 degrees here for the last week. And the Santa Ana winds are scary.

So far, San Diego has avoided the fires. I feel bad for those who lost everything. I don't know if the news told this but in one mobile home park, only 91 homes were left out of 600. Sooooo sad.

Good job on the Bev-Mo sale, friend RJ. You have enough Asti to last, what, two weeks? :lmao: just kidding. You know I luvs ya. (Cassie was crying last night about her cast and then morphed into, "but we don't know when we are going to see Uncle Beano and Auntie RJ again....")

Stoopid Chargers lost - I chalk it up to the fact that San Diegans just shouldn't be playing in the snow. Our thin blood can't handle it. (I'm still wearing flip flops - in November :woohoo: )

Good luck to Gert and Stymie on the house hunting. Will Gallo pack and unpack when you move. That's the way to go. We did that last time we moved and we were only going 12 miles.

Let's see, what else can I blabber on about????? Did I mention the Dougie's foot is probably not broken? X-rays are inconculsive so he is just supposed to stay off of it. riiiiiiiight.

Good job on the cups. Would make nice Christmas presents :rolleyes1 . I was lucky enough to get one from my secret Santa after our '05 cruise. Thanks, Bets.

OK, enough from Phyllis. Missing my friends. (where are oph and TZM BTW? Come out come out wherever you are...)

Applause!! Applause for the video master! Everything looked beautiful ya'll!:thumbsup2

OK, how does this place look?
http://rentals.deepcreek.com/book/house.html?PMSUnitID=PEREGPE

The rental company we use for our ski house rental called my neighbor today (she does all of our planning) and said the owner of the house we rented for our ski weekend pulled it off the market!:headache: We LOVED that house - it had a great layout (it was the same one we rented 2 years ago). So they offered us 6 alternatives that mostly have what we wanted. I believe this one will probably be the one we rent instead. There are 6 families so we WANTED 6 master bedrooms + a couple other bedrooms for the kids (1 boys & 1 girls) but most don't have that many masters, especially at this point in the rental season. Anyway, this place has a really nice pool area (it's actually a little bigger pool), 8 bedrooms (but only 5 masters) and a nice view of the lake...but somebody will have to use one of the "public" bathrooms. I don't know how we'll figure out who gets that room. These all rent for more so the rental co. told her they'd give us the same rental rate (whew)!

OMG. They just said they're expecting 4 MILLION people downtown for inaguration day!!:scared:

Oh lookie...it's after 6:00...time for a cocktail!!:rolleyes1

4 million people? :scared1: Are they going to set up giant tv somewhere? I don't get going up there if you don't get to see the real thing? Well, I guess sthere will be lot's of parties to go to.

I saw ophie! I did! Can TZM come out to play?

Mornin' peeps! Oh brrrr! 23 degrees this morning when I got up! HIGH of 40 today + windy! This is seriously January weather and they're saying it's gonna stay this way for at least another week!:scared:

Might go to Costco today with my neighbor! I have a $74 gift card from a return that I can use. I have not been there since I've been laid off...afraid how much I will spend:laughing: ...but I might look for some Xmas gifts...will check out winter coats for DS...he could use a new ski jacket with a zip-out lining...they may or may not have them...if they don't I will look at Burlington Coat Factory. Oh, and handwarmers...one year I found them in a big box of like 100...I am tempted to use them right NOW as I type!:rotfl2:

Happy Wednesday!

dancing turkey! Bahahahahahaha!!

Ok, FL better warm up some in the next 3 weeks or I am not going to be happy! 2 years ago when I went one of the days I was freezing. I had on jeans a turtle neck and a fleece and I was still cold during the midday hours. That is not right!

BTW, we have a windchill of 18 today! :headache:

oh, we will probably have the AC on next week..that is the problem with Florida..no consistent temps!!

:rotfl: I bought 3 big boxes of hand warmers today at Costco! (Actually, 1 box for us and 1 ea for my Dad & brother!) I ALMOST bought an electric throw to use while I'm sitting here all day...it looked so cozy...but my cart was HEAPING full by the time I got to the register so I didn't get it 'cuz I KNEW the damage was going to be high. But I could be so warm right now tho!:guilty: That place adds up so-o fast - I know why I don't go very often. :headache: But such good deals! Batteries! We go thru so-o many batteries! BEEG canister of coffee...a case of oatmeal and a case of Ramen Noodles...more wool socks:rolleyes1 ...64 oz of Helmanns...400 Kirkland brand "Aleve"...my Glucosamine tablets....some Xmas items for DS (no good coats for him tho). I got a new set of phones too. We really needed to replace the one in our bedroom 'cuz it was old & crappy (no caller ID) & the battery was dying and it was cutting out...AND the battery was fritzing on the one in the kitchen (it didn't always work) and the one in the study here doesn't have caller ID... BUT OMG! I spent a FORTUNE! Can somebody please remind me how much $ I SAVED tho!?!:rolleyes1

They got like a foot of snow up in the mountains now. Oh I am thankful we don't have THAT to deal with!

They just said on the news that the National Cathedral is laying off church workers!:scared1:

RJ - your ticker is really ticking! What do you have planned to cook for Bob while he's home? How long will he get to stay?!

 Gettin' closer and closer!!!!

Bob gets to choose whatever he wants to have for dinners while he is home. We pick him up at the airport late on the evening of the 25th and he gets to stay until the mid-morning on the 30th. :woohoo:

Hey all doing a drive by. Home tonight gone again tomorrow. House hunting is not going all that well. Funny, they say it is a buyers market but these buyers aren't feeling too empowered.

OH!! And we were in one house....AMAZING how ABSOLUTELY THRASHED a house can get in a mere 18 months. This relatively new home looked like an entire army brigade lived there.:scared1: (it's a brigade in the army right? or is it a platoon??)hhhmmm....but I digress.

HOLY CR@P!!

I don't wanna go back tomorrow. I don't wanna move. I like my house. Me wanna stay here. wwwwwaaaaahhhhh......
