I have suffered with them for years, and finally they are on top! 
You should not have to cook on your beeg day...take-out sounds like a good plan to me! 
He finally shows up around 1:45 (with the GF's son) all greasy & dirty from working on the car all day. We were just finishing eating so then THEY ate. Then the son says he has to go to work by 4:00 so we had about 45 min. then to do the whole presents thing before he had to bolt. MEANWHILE, the GF not showing up is another hoot 'cuz SHE does the schedule at her clinic place where she works. So if she'd WANTED to be there she'd have worked around it. THEN there's my older nephew and his wife...NO WORD from them AT ALL. Nada. Nothing. Zip. They just didn't show up. Can you picture how annoyed I am at all of them?
They are so rude. They deserve every bit of misery they bring onto themselves and I am NOT asking them again if they want to go to FL with us. Actually, I don't know if my parents even want to go any more either. I told them to just figure it out and let me know by January 16 'cuz that's our 7 mo. booking window. We can plan our trip w/ or w/o them. If none of them are going we can go for longer or we can plan 2 trips. At this point, I am about "done" with all of them.

Cousin's husband is in the hospital. Conditional unknown. Cousin is newly pregnant so hopefully dear Jim will pull through. I guess avalanches are so common in Jackson Hole that it didn't even make the news
SOMEHOW (thankfully) the coffee pot carafe thingy did not fall off the counter so it didn't break...BUT the coffee grounds and water were ALL OVER THE FREAKING KITCHEN!!! Everything was flooded...water and grounds down the front of my white cabinets....under the stove....my rug in front of the sink....everything was wet on the counter (salt & pepper shakers, paper towels knocked over etc.) It looked like they were AFTER something or chasing something the way everything was scattered. Now WHAT they were after is the question, right? But what a mess. There was (is) water under the cove base under the counters too...I tried to slip a paper towel under that but I don't think I got it all. I should probably take the cove base off, right? But then it will turn into a whole "project" to get DH to put it back on. I don't know which cat did this...they were both snooping while I was cleaning it up...when I yelled at them to get out Buzz talked back to me (he says this little meow that just sounds exactly like "No" sometimes).
On ABC nightly news they are doing a piece on avalanches and just mentioned that 1 person was killed at Jackson Hole WY. It was a quick blip, but it was there. Thought you might want to watch when it comes on in your area.
I thought surely after I spent the morning at swimming & mid-day at the grocery store there would be some peeps around?!

When are you going? September? As of right now I still have 2 weeks and 3 days until we hit our 7 month booking window for August. Until I know if anyone (and WHO) is going with us I don't know where we will stay... I am interested in both BCV and BWV but I am afraid if they might be in the same sad shape as that OKW studio was summer before last. I would be embarrased to take family and end up in a unit that needs a refurb like that one did. I would also sorta like to go back to VWL...if my parents go they would really like that. But then too if people ARE going with us the new THV's open for SSR owners to book on like Feb 8 or something....that could be cool....I actually think the THV's would be best tho when BIL comes back from Iraq (he left this past weekend and is in Kuwait now) and we go with him & the new SIL + MIL & step BIL...theTHV's are 3 bedrooms and sleep 9 - but are based on the 2 bedroom villa point charts! I am such a daydreamer.... 
She also didn't leave any lights on. My neighbors always leave lights + "soft jazz" playing for the dog.
I am sending IM's to my neighbor...not sure it's my place to just GO OVER THERE and take the dog out & feed it (they give her dinner at 5:00 - she is pretty scheduled)....but I'm a little concerned.... Debbie is paying the girl....but ARRRRGGGH! What is this girl DOING?!
My Dad, well we would love for him to come, but hes like Cam and wont let himself have fun. He uses every excuse in the book for not going, but I guess he brought it up to my mother the other night, so we are thinking there is a slight glimer of hope there. who knows??? But for now its us 4. I'm telling everyone I need to know 6 months in advance to work out ADRS.

We go 8/27-9/1 to ASSP, and 9/1-9/5 to the Beach Club. Right now it us 4 driving. My mother says she is defintiely flying down for part of the time, but shes hoping for a discount to come out. We will probably get my sister to let my niece come with us, but again, she drags everything out.
(which is PLENTY far enough out IMO)! I take it your school doesn't go back until after Labor Day?! Ours starts back the week before.
