So, our fun homework tonight...Cam has to study the Oceans, Continents, etc... Hes convinced there are 5 oceans, the 5th one being the Southern Ocean. Supposedly it is on the map at school so he put it on his study sheet.

DS wrote in his planner that he has a quiz in Science on the next rotation day that he has science. But then he claims he has no text book. And the teacher keeps their spiral notebooks...so he basically has zip to study from! Thank GOODNESS tomorrow nite is Back-to-school nite and maybe I can find out some answers!! We follow their periods...every 20 min. we switch starting at 7:00. They sent a thing home to remind how bad the parking is and to say might want to park at the HS and bring a flashlight for the path... (It is supposed to rain.) OH! And the Reading Class has been reading a book that is to be done by Friday and some packet done...I have yet to see the packet. Meanwhile, he finished his "independent reading" book FIRST. (Where is that smacking the forehead smiley??) He now needs to read 40 pages / night over the next 3 nights to finish the required book by Friday.

I got a call from the HR girl at Qiagen again today (the one that called me a few weeks ago and said she would keep my resume around & share it). They still haven't found anyone for that job so she said they might be changing the job description a little & she wondered if I was still looking. She is going to forward my resume to the hiring manager... so it's not over just yet! I will be nervous now everytime the phone rings!

Well, we had a really rough day yesterday. I think his ADHD pill was defective...he was wrong about the required reading book - only needs to be THROUGH Chapter 11 not DONE (whew - he's up to Chap. 23 or something already) but he had "lost" the packet he needs for the questions that are due on Fri. His Math teacher had found his lost coat! (I am liking her a lot right now!) But he forgot to bring his math book home yesterday and he came home wearing his shirt wrong side out (ever since PE class which was like 3rd period for him yesterday)! We were very short on time yest. afternoon 'cuz he had an eye exam re-check to see if his new RX was right (it is not, we need to go back again and get the lenses changed but didn't have time yest.). So we came home from that and he knew of 1 kid in our neighborhood in his math class so we went over there & borrowed the book to copy (1 of 2 in a set of identical twins - Neh and Sneh - which is apparently the Indian version of Daryl and my other brother Daryl)!!! We can't tell them apart so when they came to the door I was like "which one of you are in his math class'? Anyway, B2SN was an interesting evening...not like ES at all...we have class with a lot of kids that USED to go to his ES...we don't know ANYBODY in his English class tho. That's a little intimidating. There are 84 kids in the 6th grade band! His MS is now the largest in the Montgomery County! MS certainly is different...and we are probably going to take ALL YEAR to adjust!

He should come home before Ike hits TX tho, right?
