But I'm feeling generous this morning so I might let him have both if I can just have the Roy every week and a Cheri Suite on one of the new ships (available on demand, of course). See, it really doesn't take that much to make me happy.


Fishys are almost ready to swim to their new owners. Some chick wanted a "bridal" FE and kinda slowed the whole process down

Just went online & got my coupons for the airport parking at BWI!!! NOW it's official - we're gettin' close! BWI parking is so-o-o much cheaper than at Dulles. The garages at Dulles are like $15 / day. The satellite lots there are like about $10 or $11 / day. You have to wait for a shuttle to come thru your lane to pick you up and it may or may not have room on it to pick you up so the process is time consuming. BWI however has these "Fast Park" lots that are independently run. When you pull in they tell you what isle to park in and a shuttle / van follows right behind you to your parking space. They load up your luggage and take you straight to the airport & drop you in front of your airline. Their online coupons are usually for $6.40 / day. That works out to be like about $45 cheaper for a 10 day trip.

Anyway, I almost went thru the online check-in process with DCL but didn't yet. I am afraid this stooopid Air Tran will futz with our flights again & then I'll have to go & amend stuff. So I think I am going to wait a couple more weeks. Maybe at 3 weeks out I'll do it. They don't really have to have our passport numbers just yet or anything, do they?!

Dining question for those of you who have been to Jiko before...Just thinking about outfits to pack. How dressed up do we need to get to eat at Jiko? I know it's dressier than Boma...are capri's OK or would I need a dress? No shorts in there, right?!? We currently have ressies at both Boma and Jiko for Sat. night...must decide between them soon and cancel one ressie. Other option of course is to just stay out in the parks Sat night & blow off both....I am already wishing we had more than 3 n at WDW!! Have a breakfast ressie at Boma for Sun. AM....so I could get my Boma fix (sorta) then. Of course The Mara would be cheaper & maybe a tad faster....I have the car coming to pick us up at 10:00. I don't know. Boma...or Jiko (or neither)?! I may decide simply based on what I have to pack to wear!!

Annie, when we dine at Jiko I am going to wear this,only because Im brining it for a night on the boat too. The pants are crop pants and I will wear them with black dressy heels (again, I will have those for the boat)

I do think you could go dressier or even more casual. Pretty much anything goes at most places. And BTW, don't mind the wrinkles. This was after sitting in the sun for 2 hours.

OK, update.....It's killin' me....#6634 is still open on both cruises. How can it be that nobody has snagged that room yet?!

OK what is so special about 6634?? And should I upgrade?? Maybe book the B2B w/o telling Neil and surprise them all. muhahaha. hhhmmmm...then would have to do laundry. Or pack more w/o telling them....

BBQ'd brats, country music, 100 degree temps, a dip in the pool... and beer!

Making a "burger bar" ...have bacon, saute mushrooms, saute onions, blue cheese, jalapeno jack, swiss and american for fixins..finished that and baked beans are cooking in the oven..all that is left is to throw the burgers on when they get here...

and OF COURSE!! The sun has come out and it is a perfect pool day...grr..oh well..

Today we went to a birthday party for our new neighbors twin DDs. Between this and the party last night Im zonked.

So, speaking of beers I have found a new favorite one for the summer. Well, it's new to me, I don't know if it's new new. Bud Light Lime! Yummy!

Whew! It stormed a bit this afternoon (not BAD tho) but the stoopid Comcast (internet) went out for several hours (which it does whenever it rains). Good thing 'bout that was I worked some more on my FE stuff...am almost DONE! Come to mama little fishy!

Gert - #6634 is one of the "secret verandah" rooms...but it only sleeps 3 I think. We didn't have enough DVC points to book that high of a cat. on the 4 n. but I can dream, right?! Was thinkin' about swapping to it on the 3 n when I got laid off....so still dreamin'.

Burgers...fixins.....dogs....pools....beer with lime....it all sounds good to me!! CamColt - I don't do Bud (in any shape or form - makes for stinky farts) BUT I DID try the Miller Chill last summer when it came out - similar I believe to this new Bud. It was OK but I still prefer a Corona Light with a lime in it if I could have a choice.

Guess I'll decide about Jiko or Boma when I actually start packing and see how much stuff I can actually bring. I WAS thinking about doing double duty on an outfit for there and for the cruise....will start packing in 2 or 3 weeks! Seriously. I will. I MUST have a plan, get everything I want to bring weighed and ironed (I know Gert - it's a waste but I do it anyway).

1. Good G-d you have weather there! Um... nooooooo thank you! We had weather here today. Cloudy and 65 at about 9:00, sunny and 70 at about 3:00 and now about 60 and sunny @ 6:30. Weather - San Diego Style.

Cheri - SD weather is sounding CHILLY to me! Personally, I am a fan of about 82 degrees. I need bait to catch my fishy?! Hummmm.... There may be some fishing next weekend on our camping trip but I have a feeling that you are not referring to worms. Wine? Will wine catch a fish? Can it be from a mini with a screw top or from a box? Does it HAVE to be from a bottle with a cork?

OK, who has beeeg plans for Father's Day? I did not make any plans for DH. Got him some shorts & a couple shirts (whoohoo, right). No other plans 'cuz for MONTHS my neighbor was trying to arrange for this outdoor laser tag guy to come for the Dads to all play laser tag outside. Well, he's not CHEAP and Moms kept coming & going on it (very wishy washy) so she finally decided we didn't have enough Dads for it to be worthwhile so she cancelled him. So now we have no plans. I bought some Rib Eyes the other day 'cuz they were on sale for $5.99 / Lb so I guess I'll just thaw those for dinner...

Only 5 weeks?! WOW! I will definitely start packing in at least 3 weeks! Found out that DS will have a swim meet on that Wed. night before we leave (means a much later evening than I would like). They say the meets usually last from about 6:00 - 9:30/10:00 (warm ups start around 5:00). We have his first meet this Wed. so I will find out for sure. But THAT is NOT how I will want to spend that evening. They swim the Butterfly last...for that last meet he may have to only sign up for his Freestyle and Backstroke so we can leave a little earlier. But I guess I will have to be READY by Tues. evening. Our flight is at 7:50 AM on Thurs. That means we'll have to leave home by around 5:00-5:15. But we'll be in FL by around 10:00!!

So that cold front that came thru yesterday brought lower humidity so I FINALLY went out front & washed my truck. Boy was it dirty. It hadn't had a hand job since I waxed it last fall. You can see yourself in my little chrome sidesteps now! Then I swept out the garage before I pulled back in. Another filthy mess. Well, it still is but I got the worst of it.

So I know it's Father's Day & all but DH is plopped downstairs doing nothing...he hasn't mowed the yard in 2 WEEKS!! He hasn't fertilized since like March (and I bought the stuff like a month ago)...he hasn't done the Grub-Ex (have a bag of that out in the garage too). Nothing. I am getting really frustrated.
