I never saw a link or anything to this "hidden Mickey"...

I wanna try to find it ....assistance please:thumbsup2

I blended a Hidden Mickey into the background of that door sign I made for Pirate Night... Sean thought it might be that speck on the sail of the 2nd ship but that's not it. It shows up better when the pic is larger. Maybe you could copy it to your computer and then open it larger?! I am blaming DH for it being really hard to find. I wanted to make it just a TAD bit easier...and I can if nobody can find it....

Sue Ellen - saw a couple of cute things in your catalog. I liked the little gym/sport bag thing for DS for his camps & swimming & stuff...thought it would make it easier for him to identify if it had his initials on it. How long does the stuff take to order? (His b-day is May 18 - I could maybe order for that if it would be in that quickly?!):goodvibes

Hi Annie,
Yes, it should be in by then. It takes about 2 weeks from closing the party for it to arrive. You can opt to have it shipped directly to you as well.
I will make sure that the party closes out in enough time for that to get to you before he needs it. now just to get some more orders so I can get it closed out. :)
Sue Ellen

Thx SE - I will look at it again later...just got back from interview and am waiting for DS to come in from school....we gets our hairs cut at 4:00!!:goodvibes

OK - interview went alright. Still didn't meet with HR but directly with the Director of Operations. Weird. Anyway, it's in a freaking food warehouse tho!!:sad2: Good 'cuz it would be casual dress (VERY casual) but not exactly the office environment I was hoping to find (lots of warehouse types & drivers & such milling around - would be quite different)! Anyway, turns out the whole Access thing is no big deal...BUT they're moving by June of 2009!!:scared1: They're looking to purchase a site and build a new warehouse...they have it narrowed to 4 locations. One is across the county by where my MIL lives, 1 is north into Frederick County (probably about 15-20 mi. away but against traffic) and the other 2 locations are in Howard County near Jessup / Columbia (probably about 30 miles away)! :sad2: He said he had 2 other interviews today then he's traveling for a couple of weeks and probably won't fill the position for another 3-4 weeks - he thinks he'll know the site by then. :sad2: :sad2: Let's hope somebody else calls before he does!

OK, survey....

Need to make a plan for DS's birthday....was thinking about doing a movie party...is that lame for a boy turning 11???!!?!?! The new Narnia movie comes out 2 days before his birthday and our local theater has a room we can use before or after the movie for no charge...His b-day is on a Sunday - so we could do the 3:45 or 4:15 movie - get ea kid a small popcorn & drink & pay for their admission...and have a cake afterward.... Just not sure if that's too girly for an 11 yo?!

Votes / thoughts / ideas please!

Annie don't have any boys so not the best advice giver but how about a boys day at the ballpark?

Nationals? Baltimore Oreos?

Then send DH with DS and a friend or two and you go get a pedicure!

It's a win-win situation.:thumbsup2

Does that mean, yes, it's not good for boys?! DS just shrugs his shoulders. :confused3 He doesn't appear to feel strongly about it one way or another. My other offer to him which would cost a little more (and may not have any availability left at this point) was to go to this indoor rock climbing wall place down in Rockville. Got more shrugs on that too.:confused3 I thought he would jump on that one but he didn't! I have been bugging him for about 2 weeks to decide what he wants to do. He has done indoor laser tag the past 2 years - personally, I'm over that one!:goodvibes

The day at the ballpark idea is cute...but none of them are close by so getting very many kids there together would be hard...plus DS could really care less about sports. Daryl has taken him to a Nationals game and to Redskins games before. More shrugs tho if you would ask him if he WANTED to go. Daryl took him 'cuz it seemed like good father / son things to do. But DS would rather be home on the computer. I think he really would've dug that spy museum thing if it wasn't so darned expensive. But we ain't spending $1,500 on a b-day party!!!:sad2: :rolleyes1

CamColt you got boys - what do you think?!

Just took DS on the rock climbing wall website...now he's thinking that might be OK after all....so I will call them in the morning to see if May 18 is open. If not, we're goin' with Plan B (the movies).:goodvibes (Still curious to know what you think tho CamColt!)

Rock climbing wall place sounds cool.

RJ - was thinking about you a little while ago - how did the Crouton chiluns do at the Disney trivia contest at good ole KHS?

Cheri - 3 of 4 completed :wink wink nudge nudge:

Glad I checked in. ;) Yes, Annie, if he wants to see that movie, then I think its a good idea. We did the movie party for Cam a couple years ago (maybe his 9th) and it was cool. Before the movie he got to stand up and say "Roll it!". He was all excited. ;)

On the other hand he has gone to a party at a Rock Climbing place and really liked that too.

trivia ended up being lame.....all they did was play a music clip and you had to name the movie it was from

As long as it wasn't Bedknobs & Broomsticks Bob & Johnnie should have been fine. ;)

Annie- if Jared doesn't really care one way or the other, maybe he's getting past birthday parties. Timmy's last "party" was his 8th. Then Chris took him and 2 buddies to a Padre game two years in a row (T isn't even into baseball).

Then Timmy said he didn't want any party at all. Too stressful having to invite this neighbor kid he didn't like (but Mom is friends with), nothing he really wanted to do and didn't see any point in spending lot's of money on just anything. Now he just likes to go to his favorite restaurant - oh, and get money towards the guitar he wants.

and the story there is???? (other than the fact that it's an ancient movie that was last shown in about 1973)

We played Disney trivia with the Croutons at Thanksgiving... Bob & Johnnie had some... err... difficulty with any movie made before... say... 2002. (Except of course The Little Mermaid - go figure)

Bedknobs & Broomsticks was the most glaring example of the fact that no one but Tim really knows Disney trivia. :rolleyes1

you can't be serious - he beat RJ at Disney Scene It?
I didn't think that was possible.

I'm thinkin' we might need to get those two in the trivia contest on board. they might be able to win sumthin'

 excuse me! those is fightin' words ;)......I do believe that I had him beat with most of the princess type questions

But they still kicked some BOO-TAY yes!?

nope, they didn't get to play :confused3

isn't "our" island purty!:thumbsup2

I don't think I could win anything Disney against the Croutons...but any other useless trivia...like who sang "the crying game" lead song (which is how I won DMB tickets the other day)...I am a KILLA!
