With the help of multiple HD video cameras around I don't think we will miss anything. You might even catch someone mooning you in a tree it is possible you know a big tree could just be in front of you and you could be tempted to pull your pants down and moon your friends and possibly some random strangers yes it did happen (although Ophie doesn't believe me because she hasn't seen it on DVD....hint hint hint ) Ophie muttered something that sounded suspiciously like, "quit messin with the dead peeps and make me my DVD you pucker" I think that I could have some of that wrong though.

Interpretation on this one was a wild guess on my part! I need more clues!!

OK, so I went ahead & used that smartertravel.com link to book a room for Friday 7/25 @ the Comfort Suites. The going weekend rate for that link was $215 + a bunch of other misc. stuff (taxes, tips, surcharges etc...) I figured with all that + taxi & lunch we'd still come out about $160 less than the DCL excursion. Just have to cancel it before 7/20...figured better to at least HAVE IT BOOKED than not. Didn't know if they might "book up" and run out of rooms?! They don't charge your cc until you check-in so I figured it's more just a hold thing.

TRM - the rate for the Tues. was $191 (+ blah, blah). I hope you DO end up finding a rate on the TravelZoo site thing for the Atlantis - that would be cool...and would save a few more bucks... The one thing that worries me on the way I booked this is that you had to select the "Significant Organization" rate to get that price. It says in the fine print that you need an ID to qualify...but I read someone's posts somewhere that said they've done it twice & never had to show any special ID...so I hope it works!

Mulch just got delivered...now just need spring to show up!

Knowing TZM - I am gonna go with happened in Sequoia - big trees there - TZM attempted to climb one and his pants "slipped" down thereby causing a totally accidental "mooning" of the friends and random strangers.

Ophie just really wants the DVD.

Now he often will order those little burgers as his meal...but he says "no salad" on them - he just wants plain cheeseburgers!

The show..."According to Jim" was on last night, on the CW network or whatever the heck its called now. It was the episode when they are on one of the Disney ships. I thought all you peeps might have been interested. Was it really that cryptic? I though the questioning it was a joke.

Sorry dear - I am not familiar with the network or the show! I pretty much don't venture from your basic ABC, NBC, CBS, HBO, (and the Weather Channel) kinda channels!

According to Jim stars Jim Belushi and Courtney Thorne Smith (and Kimberly Williams Paisley from Father of Bride). It is usually on ABC on prime time (hence the Disney Boat episode)...one of the few sit coms stil in existence, LOL! But these are the old syndicated ones. I believe CW used to be the WB network.

But anyway it was funny, I was just showing DH pictures of Palo brunch and my sister called to tell me it was on. I turned it on and they were in Palo...talk about a sign!

what's everybody up to tonight? I'm supposed to be at the big PTA soiree'. But, at $100/ticket and a (c'mon-you-know-you-want-to-it's-for-the-school!) auction plus $100 raffle tickets... I'm happy here in my family room IN MY SWEAT PANTS working on the Top Secret Project and having a glass o' da grape.
