We could go out to CC early in the morning and stake our claim (like all the bad people who "reserve" pool chairs at 6:00am) and then come back -having had our exercise- and eat brunch.

You've never done this before? When we used to go to Ocean City every summer we used to go down to the beach at like 7 am & "stake out our spot" for the day! Umbrellas, chairs, blankets...all of it! You had to or else you would end up with like 2" of space!

The weatherman just did the weather forecast...20% chance of snow...60% chance of freezing rain / 1/4" ice...90% chance school will be cancelled! Can I just say that I HATE those kinds of commutes!? GRRRRRR!

With 3 days at CC I am sure that we could sacrifice an hour for brunch. We could make that the day in which we go to the adult beach for once. Our spots at the HUB would not matter as much. Just an idea. I really like food and this is one of the best food offerings that Disney Cruiseline has to offer. So, no, this DH will not be going ahead to get a chair. I am not that enthused about camping out in the sun anyway. I need me a shady umbrella and a few beers. Right Beano?

Any of the girls can go home tonight on AI. I didn't think that any of them were that good. There were 4 guys that could go home. The kid with the 70's hair is one that totally sucked.

I HATE it when people do this. They hog up chairs (and hammocks) and then MAYBE come back it sit for 20 minutes. Same thing happens at the pool on board. Families NEED 4 loungers just so Mom can watch the kids swim. OK, they may use one more when they eat lunch. It's just common courtesy to not take more than you need (unless you are at Palo brunch and then I can take the WHOLE BOWL OF WHIPPED CREAM - BECAUSE IT'S MINE I TELL YOU MINE MINE MINE!!!!)

So, it would be great if we could have "our" spot: about 10 yards in front of Head's Up bar. Shaded loungers and 2 or 3 hammocks.

I like the idea of the brunch being the same day as visiting Serenity Bay. T and Cas could spend some quality "sibling bonding time"

Also with you on AI. I quit watching after girl #8. Except for maybe 1 of them, not a one was impressive. A couple of the guys were pretty good though. Problem: they are sending the people home during LOST! What moron scheduled that????

Yes, I agree that is not right (and I only ever did that once - in Hawaii 'cuz there was never more than 1 chair together where we were staying and we sorta wanted to sit together and after 2 days of that crap we finally did it too). But some of us actually come back and actually sit their butts down and actually STAY there when they come back! I just go early sometimes to get just the right SPOT! Gotta get the right sun angle! But I always come back for the duration!!

Pixie Dust request My stepdad was diagnosed today with B-Cell Lymphoma. Seems to be localized to the lymph nodes in his neck and his thyroid. Starting chemo first week of March. Drs. don't seem too worried about it at this point. Good survival rate. But extra PD is always good.

Ok going to check the Peeps website!

DS was dancing & twirling & clapping & grinning from ear-to-ear this morning! Couldn't tell if he was so-o excited just 'cuz there was no school or 'cuz it's his first full day home alone! Heard the freezing rain start pelting the windows around 4:15. SueEllen - there was a 30 car accident on the fly-over ramp from I-270 onto I-370 this morning (southbound). I'm guessing you take I-370 to Shady Grove to Crabs Branch for your pin trading thing on Sat.! This is about 5 min. from my office! I opted to take the route with the LEAST amount of bridges this morning!

Will be on the switchboard on & off all day...catch ya'll later!

Getting a hair cut and making all the brown go away today! Haven't had my hair done since Thanksgiving!!! YIKES!!
Kate has a karate show tomorrow and Sunday and DH's ex will be there (because DSS will be doing Kendo) so I need to refill that Xanax!! LOL (kidding....ok...not really)
Mom is coming up today, so she will protect me!! Kate's birthday is Monday so we are celebrating this weekend

We have never been to Serenity Bay (or CC) so I don't know what / how our days will go... If we go to Serenity Bay do they have like a kids club for the kids on CC where DS would stay?! What do we do with him?! Can we take a cooler of our own beverages with us to CC?!

TRM - I think we need to find you one of those portable pop-up UV tent thingys for Baby Pirate Linden - so's she can have her own space and shady naptime. I see them at the beaches here all the time. I think they should have those for rent or something on CC?! No?! We must figure this out!!

Ahhh...finally Friday! Office ended up closing at 2:00 'cuz of the weather...whew!

This weekend....hummm....Pinewood Derby tomorrow afternoon (and maybe catch up with SueEllen for some goat). Got Rosie working now...she doesn't do windows, baseboards or bathrooms tho! Just found her in another room (not where I left her) & couldn't figure out how she got there...then discovered Woody sitting in front of the Virtual Wall thingy...blocked the beam so she "got out"! OOPS! This is why I don't run her when I'm not around to watch her - she gets into trouble!

Need to finish & file taxes...

Groceries & errands... Oh and

Should we try to go skiing again on Sunday? Dunno. It's a thought...probably a good weekend to go...probably last chance...We'll see. It's just a thought I have......

Where is everyone? Looked at new website (thanks Cheri)! Still thinking about the peeps matching game....think I know some....very confused on others.... Need to think about doing "stuff" for this cruise...wrote down some ideas....but now what to DO with them!?
