Babe, tomorrow's so far away
There's somethin' I just have to say
I don't think I could hide
What I feel inside another day
Knowin' I love you

And I, I'm getting' too close again
I don't wanna see it end
If I tell you tonight
Would you turn out the lights and walk away
Knowin' I love you

I'm gonna take you by surprise
And make you realize, Amanda
I'm gonna tell you right away
I can't wait another day, Amanda
I'm gonna say it like a man
And make you understand, Amanda
I love you

And I feel like today's the day
I'm lookin' for the words to say
Do you wanna be free
Are you ready for me to feel this way
I don't wanna lose ya

So it may be too soon, I know
The feelin' takes so long to grow
If I tell you today
Will you turn me away and let me go
I don't wanna lose you

I'm gonna take you by surprise
And make you realize, Amanda
I'm gonna tell you right away
I can't wait another day, Amanda
I'm gonna say it like a man
And make you understand, Amanda (oh girl)

You and I, I know that we can't wait
And I swear, I swear it's not a lie girl
Tomorrow may be too late
You, you and I girl
We can share a life together
It's now or never
And tomorrow may be too late

And feelin' the way I do
I don't wanna wait my whole life through
To say I'm in love with you

Okay, what's with the songs TZM? Two I like I might add...

Oh, Annie, I forgot to add that I'll be up in Gaithersburg later this month at a DIS and pin trading meet (I think it's the 23rd if that is a Saturday.) I'll also be up in DC for a Bon Jovi concert as well.

Sue Ellen

I was ridin' shotgun with my hair undone in the front seat of his car
He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel
The other on my heart
I look around, turn the radio down
He says baby is something wrong?
I say nothing I was just thinking how we don't have a song
And he says...

Our song is the slamming screen door
Sneaking out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
'Cause it's late and his mama don't know
Our song is the way he laughs
The first date "man, I didn't kiss him, and I should have"
And when I got home, 'fore I said amen
Asking God if he could play it again

I was walking up the front porch steps after everything that day
Had gone all wrong and been trampled on
And lost and thrown away
Got to the hallway, well on my way to my lovin' bed
I almost didn't notice all the roses
And the note that said...

Our Song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
'Cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date "Man, I didn't kiss her, and I should have"
And when I got home, 'fore I said amen
Asking God if he could play it again

I've heard every album listened to the radio
Waiting for something to come along that was as good as our song...

'Cause our song is the slamming screen door
Sneaking out late, tapping on his window
When we're on the phone and he talks real slow
'Cause it's late and his mama don't know
Our song is the way he laughs
The first date "man, I didn't kiss him, and I should have"
And when I got home, 'fore I said amen
Asking God if he could play it again

Play it again, play it again
oh yeah uh huh yeah

I was riding shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his car
I grabbed a pen and an old napkin
And I, wrote down our song

I'm sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea
I've got to be free, free to face the life that's ahead of me
On board, I'm the captain, so climb aboard
We'll search for tomorrow on every shore
And I'll try, oh Lord, I'll try
To carry on

I look to the sea, reflections in the waves spark my memory
Some happy, some sad
I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had
We live happily forever, so the story goes
But somehow we missed out on that pot of gold
But we'll try best that we can to carry on

A gathering of angels appeared above my head
They sang to me this song of hope, and this is what they said
They said come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me lads
Come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me

I thought that they were angels, but to my surprise
They climbed aboard their starship and headed for the skies
Singing come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
Come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me

:rotfl: An oldie but goodie!

I knew how much everyone missed my singing so I figured I would treat y'all to some good stuff.

Maybe if I keep going at this pace, we can get to Thread 3 by the time the cruise comes...;)

40 seconds. Why so long?

Woke up this morning, feeling fine
There's something special on my mind
Last night I met a new girl in the neighborhood
Whoa yeah
Something tells me I'm into something good
(Something tells me I'm into something good)

She's the kind of girl who's not too shy
And I could tell I'm her kind of guy
She danced close to me like I hoped she would
(She danced with me like I hoped she would)
Something tells me I'm into something good
(Something tells me I'm into something good)

We only danced for a minute or two
But then she stuck close to me the whole night through
Can I be falling in love
She's everything I've been dreaming of
She's everything I've been dreaming of

I walked her home and she held my hand
I knew it couldn't be just a one-night stand
So I asked to see her next week and she told me I could
(I asked to see her and she told me I could)
Something tells me I'm into something good
(Something tells me I'm into something)
(Something tells me I'm into something)

I walked her home and she held my hand
I knew it couldn't be just a one-night stand
So I asked to see her next week and she told me I could
(I asked to see her and she told me I could)
Something tells me I'm into something good
(Something tells me I'm into something)
Something tells me I'm into something good
(Something tells me I'm into something)
To something good, oh yeah, something good
(Something tells me I'm into something)

Oh yeah?! A Pin trading meet? Where abouts? Let me guess...Gaithersburg....must be either the Hol. Inn or ummm...is it the Marriott or the Hyatt now? THOSE ARE BOTH only about 4 miles from me and are within sight of a Chipotle BTW!:rotfl: We have DS's Pinewood Derby from 1 - 4 on the 23rd....but we should try to catch a burrito bowl together or something!!:goodvibes

It's at Parkhopper's 'pin palace' It's in a business area on Crabb's Branch Way (Rockville is the actual address I believe.)
It starts at 1:00 and goes until everyone leaves. He's been doing these for years (I think since 2000) I remember going to these while I was pregnant with Trevor which was in 2001.
I'll definitely be up there with the kids. Steve will be working so it will just be the three of us. You should come.

:goodvibes LOL...I know exactly where you mean - those are my old stomping grounds...DH & I lived in a townhouse off Shady Grove Rd. YEARS ago before we were married (Crabs Branch intersects with Shady Grove) and DH used to work in an office building on the corner of Crabs Branch & Redland Road). You could almost probably take the metro. ANYWAY, there is a Chipotle on Shady Grove about maybe 10 minutes to the West of there with the stoplights!:lmao: Shady Grove Rd. / Crabs Branch is only about 15 min. from where we live using I-270! So now I'm guessing where you're going is in one of those townhouse type commerical strips...probably near Indianola Dr. Well, like I said we have the Pinewood Derby on the 23rd from 1 - 4:00.

If you think you'll still be around until 5:00 or so we could try to hook up after if you want!?

Ok! Who has gone and stolen all my California sun??? Stoopid groundhog!:lmao: :rotfl2:

Why do they keep asking him anyways.....he always sees his shadow!

I'm ready for Spring I say! Hope you all have a happy day*

Yesterday Cassie asked, "Mommy, if the groundhog sees his shadow doesn't that mean the sun is up? It must mean spring is coming because if it was winter it would be cloudy and yucky." :confused3 Girl has a point

Annie: please to be ceasing the Chipotle mentions now. TY
