Just got back from the fields...Cam won 3-2. Colt lost 6-3, but he got 2 goals...and actually a 3rd that the ref claimed didnt go in.

Well, we just had our last really nice day for awhile. Low 80's again but tomorrow it's supposed to rain & go back into the 60's for several days. Best thing about the rain is that it will wash some pollen out of the air. I had the windows open today but the pollen count is almost to the point now where I just let so much of it inside it's time to turn on the A/C so everything doesn't get coated with a yellow haze!! Crazy...go from heat to a week with nothing then turn on the A/C!

So we worked outside all afternoon. DH worked on the grill a little bit (having trouble getting it to light) and mowed & I did more weeding & mulching. Uncovered the patio furniture & brought the cushions out for the steamer chairs...We really need a new umbrella for the table. I'd actually like to replace the whole set but we all know THAT'S not happening right now. It was a good set but we've had it for at least 10 years or so and even tho we've either brought it in or covered it during the winter the paint has faded badly. We have 2 old market umbrellas that are wooden & they're both really pretty shot. I'd like to get an aluminum one with a hand crank rather than a pulley. I was looking at them online...found a couple of OK deals with free shipping and no tax. The pool & patio stores are always so expensive... I haven't run it by DH yet...

Don't mind him... he's just a little bitter and cranky about the electric bill. It never got low this "winter" and soon it'll skyrocket again. 86 today w/ 10+ UV rating & already at 60% or more humidity...

Yeah...I figured he was just jealous that he doesn't have a big 'ole gas bill to pay on top of the electric bill since he moved to FL!!

3 months to go before we can all meet up live and in person! Tonight...hummm...do I stay up until midnight to book our Palo & excursions?! Who else on the east coast is staying up late?! I will have to make a list of my first, second, third choice on everything...I'm assuming that parasailing is gonna need more than 1 choice of time / date....I think we're gonna try to do the parasailing and stingray thing on the 4 n and the cat snorkeling on the 3 n.... Palo on night 2 or 4? I think DH just wants me to plan it for the "dress up" night on night 2...
