you can only book for the peeps in your room. Already tried that. all of us are already linked. (SE has us for 8:00 dining BTW). I think it's midnight EST, isn't it? Which, of course, it good for us (but of course, that's when all children need a drink, another story and have to go to the bathroom )


How could the 10:00 boat be filled? I'm guessing they only release 3 or so spots at 105 days. They have to keep some for 90 days, some for 75 days and some for on board- although I'd bet everything is sold out by then.

Yes, it is 12:01 am Eastern time... And I asked them if they hold spots back for the diff. booking time slots and she said no! It is totally first come first served but that there are a total of 22 suites that can book at the 105 day mark so things like the parasailing can fill up quickly...

8:00 dinner...now to decide on which nite for Palo...don't want to invade on Katie's anniv. dinner on the last nite...don't want to miss Pirate nite (gotta see the peeps all decked out in their finest pirate costumes), don't really wanna miss Animators "show" but may have to on the 4 n.... Hummmmm... I know, I know we will be back to Animators on the 3 n....

Seeing as it is midnight, and Im always zonked out well before 10:00, I may have to put DH in charge of booking this. So Ill probably end up with 7:00 PM on 8/21.

Ill probably just tell him get what he can get, and Ill play around with it in the morning. The days/times that worked for me are gone, so I dont know what else to try at this point. Im not going to stress over it.

cheri - du's website says "you vacation is in 99 days"..it says the 3 day is in 104 days...which is why I could book yesterday!!

I checked with DH and he is OK booking it at whatever time we get. If we end up on the same boat even better. We aren't into being super scheduled so time really doesn't matter to us. That being said earlier would have been better.

So I will book at 9:00 pm my time and see what we all end up with. If you want to attempt the conference call - won't be a problem on this end. We will definitely be up.

We still have 9 days to go before we can book anything...we will just have to take our chances & see what's left... We didn't know any better the last time when we did the West Coast cruise and by the time I called we were able to get everything we wanted except the dolphin thing in PV...so we just did our 2nd choice there. I don't remember how long I waited to call but I'm sure it wasn't at 75 days. I still have to pay off that 3 day cruise in order to book anything on that one anyway. It is a good feeling right now tho to know that the 4 day one was covered with in full with our DVC points.

Question - once I go online & make my pymt. do I get the credit immediately or is there a delay getting the credit to show up? Like do I need to plan to do it a couple days ahead of time / before the weekend??

I think she's pulling pulling your leg. Or, more likely, that's what someone told her and that someone is wrong.Bet you a drink that if you call three more times you will get different answers.

Then I'm mad at the DCL web site for not letting me book anything until Sunday. Sat would have been 105.

Thats ok, we will just pretend like we dont know you. No really, our anniverasry is actually pirate night. We are hoping to do Palo on the 23rd because thats between the anniversary and DH's birthday, so we will actually have both events in the regular dining room.

I believe they do hold back Palo reservations, but I dont know about parasailing. My last cruise we booked a week in advance and had planned on not doing Palo. Once we got on board and found out we had table mates, I wanted to try. We called Thursday evening and were able to book for Saturday at 8:00 PM (exactly what we wanted as it was our anniversary), with no problem.

It will be T, A, A, P - but they only do the color change on the first nite in Animators when you repeat it....the 3rd nite of the cruise is the special pirate menu & I don't want to miss out on that - OR you guys all decked out in your fancy garb! Will have to wait to see the "light show" on the 3 n. if we do Palo on the 2nd nite of the cruise... The 2nd nite is the "dress up" night on the 4 nite and DH likes the idea of just doing Palo on that nite so there's less dressing up...so we will either do nite 2 or nite 4.

OK...called DCL again about the excursion bookings. ANGIE also said they hold back some ressies for Palo but not for the excursions....something to do with them being actually booked thru 3rd party companies.......book 'em first come / first served. Will space out my other 2 calls!!

Also, SE or Katie, is the DU customer # the same as the DCL ressie #?? Last time I tried to make a "wish list" on DCL I could not log in If the #'s are different could you please direct me to where I can locate the DCL #?

Johnna, your Reservation ID from DU (6 digit number) is not the same as the confirmation number from DCL. Check your Pms.

Nevermind - I figured it out!

Looks like for us:

1. CC #1 - Neil and Ryan parasailing

2. Nassau - Snorkeling

3. CC #2 - brunch for Johnna

4. Disembark and tear

No Palo for us - but two birthdays to celebrate.

For those who have cruised with little ones - if we have the 8 pm dinner - if I book Linden into the nursery - assuming I get first choice of hourse I was thinking 8:45 ish - she most likely would have eaten earlier - then she could hang with us peeps for a little while and then off to nursery.

Does this sound about right??

Yeah we heard this a few days ago. We are pretty devastated around here. Sounds silly to say but we all love that game.

I have signed the petition, sent a letter and am working on family "flats" (think flat stanley) to send to the powers that be at Disney Online. Really just to be annoying. I think their minds are made up.

My gut feeling is its a contract issue with the company that owns the code that runs the VMK program. But I don't really know. I hope something can be done to keep it around.

If he is ever on and see us tell him to say hi! CaptAceKing (DH) can mostly be found playing pirates. AceEllaBelle (me) I wander and play Haunted Mansion. BlueAcePinkTink (DD1) moves furniture around alot in her rooms and LilPirateLinden does whatever mom and dad make her do! LOL

Sad situation. But not sure anything can be done about it.
