I AM PACKED!! WHEW! Just finished around 3:00. OMG. It cannot go back in any other way! I shuffled things around A LOT. DS helped me weigh everything (over & over) by laying on the floor watching the scale. I wanted to allow 2 Lbs for error between my scale and the official scale at the airport. I weighed the bag alone then I weighed myself (having a good day today BTW) while holding the bag to double check the accuracy. Ended up getting out another duffle to use as a carry-on. All of the shoes are in that now!! OK, so, my duffle is about 43 or 44 Lbs...but it's STUFFED full. DH's bag is 48 Lbs and DS's is also about 48 Lbs. DS's bag also has the sunscreens and is the one with the garment bag section - so DH's & mine dress clothes are in that one. I have one carry-on that's ALMOST empty...as was my plan. All of the FE stuff is in that - but I can re-distribute stuff once we get to FL. It's the flying restrictions that are killin' me. Anyway, so we will each now have a carry-on. On the way home, if we HAVE to, we can check one of these carry-ons and use our DVC tote as a carry-on. This is the first time I haven't packed an empty duffle. But it's the first time that I've carried on a bag that's practically empty! But the shuffling around made room for my 5 bathing suits that I probably won't need 'cuz OF THE DARNED RAIN and got me under the weight limit! Have been watching the weather channel non-stop all day while packing.

OK, I just washed a load of clothes I need to move to the dryer - trying to leave as much clean as I can. Now I need to go water my outside plants & clean the powder room. Have to leave here in about 40 min. for swimming!

I cannot believe this is finally happening! Just did the online check-in with Air Tran & printed the boarding passes!

Dunno if I'll be back on here tonite or not...depends what time we get home from the meet. Still have to shower etc. after that! NEED to do that!

Not done packing - heck - I have one more entire day!! DDs LLBean bathing suit I bought in June fell apart yesterday. So guess I gotta go buy another one. Done shopping at LLBean. Jerks.

OK - really gotta get my Fishie done. So lost my passion for that project. Mine won't match the other 3 I made but that's OK right??

LOL! Im freaking myself out. I almost hit the floor when I hit refresh and #3 suddenly appeared. They are popping out of nowhere. I think you are right though...those 2 down south are just moving west so shouldnt bug us. Its that pesky yellow thing covering most of Fl that I'm not liking. Hopefully it will move out of central Fl by noon tomorrow. Nice try, huh? Darn Blobs!

Yay, Annie is packed! You did it! I just have a few odds and ends left to put in, some cant go in until the morning. Stil have to clean up a bit, empty the dishwasher, finish up some emails, etc, etc.... But the bulk of the work is done. Not long now!

Ok, home from the swim meet. HOOGE!!! 4 & 5 heats on almost everything. DS dropped another 3 seconds off his freestyle & stayed about the same on his backstroke. So now he's done. Next week would've been the last week. Sadly, he will miss his team picture.

Something is eating my tomatoes! I keep spraying but I don't know what it is! I DID have almost 20...now I only have like 4 left. I am very frustrated!

OK, need to go finish up a few leetle things and get a shower.

Crossing fingers the rain comes & goes rather than just stays.

All packed and going to drive up to Betsy's tomorrow. I will be there for 2 days so I had to pack a small bag for stay at her house too. I have been watching the weather systems too and after over 40 years in Florida, the only thing you can say about the weather here is you don't know what it will do. But Betsy is right, this is our rainy season and we get used to dodging showers in the summer. See you all Sat. poolside or in the terminal Sun. morning. Looking forward to meeting the ones I haven't met before.

Just tried to fix something with crazy glue...got it on my finger nail polish.

Working on packing - can't you tell? Stymie keeps coming in here saying...the door signs aren't packed....we still need the costumes....what about the fishie things.

I am going to go do my fishie right now. Really. I am. Are we sure a Walgreens bag won't cut it!?

Everyone travel safe!! I think we are the last ones to actually get on the road so to speak. Yes? First thing Friday morning we will be on our way. Keep your fingers crossed the 6 am flight was a brilliant idea and that the Leetle Pirate will go back to sleep once the plane is in the air. Otherwise it is gonna be a long day for da mama.

I second and third the congrats for Annie's finished packing.

I think the dishsoap has to be a certain scent like lemon maybe or are you suppose to add black pepper. My friend's dad is an etymologist. So my friend looks to see how my flowers are doing and tells DH what her father would advice him to do.

I see a blob over lower peninsula. I forgot to ask MIL what the weather is doing at her place in Celebration. I just hope we don't have big waves at sea.

I had to sew 14 t-shirts for my family reunion in Tampa after the cruise. My mom called me and asked if I was done. I totally forgot about them!!! When I got home from work, I packed them in a suitcase. Boy, would I have really been disowned!!!

I just finished sewing DS6 & 10 pirate pants. DS10 not as good because I mismeasured his hamhocks. 10 has chunko meat while 6 is slim trim to the bone.

I just have to do last minute work on my vacation binder. I was suppose to make one for the cruise part but I think I'm just going to wing it. I got the navigator, the passporter, and Cheri's ship layout of room assignments. I usually itineraryized my vacation daily. I think I will just eat my way on the cruise and walk all over WDW.

Everything seems to be on schedule. The flights on time, Im up and ready, most stuff is packed. We are leaving in about 1/2 hour. Oh and that yucky yellow blob has moved a lot since last night. Keep it going!

Anne, have a safe trip to Betsy's. To the rest, have safe travels when you go. Annie, I will race you to AKL...ready set...GO!

Never fear, daughter dear, I am on my way and if you just lay everything out, you know your old mom will pack. Just remember it is only for a week. I have one bag packed with all I will need with a change of clothes every day and extra. Also, you know me, I will do 25 loads of laundry for you tomorrow too, because I know it will be waiting for me!!!!
