I don't think either the DVC insurance or the DCL insurance offered options for insuring the cost of our flights. I could not insure the 4 n cruise we booked on points tho w/o going thru the DVC insurance. Nobody else would let me assign a cash value to it. But when I DID try to find insurance elsewhere I included the flights. It just worked out to be easier to go thru DCL for the 2nd cruise. I am also one that's hoping July will be a calm month at sea!


Well, it's almost 11:00 and I'm still getting alternating results on my David Cook voting (busy, busy, get thru, get thru, busy). So that's a good sign I think. I think Simon really slammed him so I am doing my part as a fan. Although the other kid is good I don't like him and don't want him to win. He's just too sappy...too "gosh, golly gee".

I am thoroughly disgusted at how the AI judges stacked the deck against David Cook. You can't tell the audience "Archuletta won this one" and "He won that one" and "this was a sweep for [him]" and expect the audience to have their own thoughts.

Morning chattys!

Smoke was BAD out here last night...could see it and the smell was bad! It was fine when I got home from work and then about 7pm I took the dog out and could hardly stand it!! YUCK..it was like standing in a smoker!!

I haven't been out yet this morning and I need to take my coffee upstairs and get moving! 3.5 day weekend!!!

House is smellin' yummy...put a dry rub on a pork roast over night and am cookin' it in the crockpot with a beer on it to make BBQ pulled pork this evening. I had to cook it today bcuz of the "use by date" (I am not a good user of things that I freeze - unless it's ice cream or vodka. ) Anyway, I forgot that I had baked a lasagne on Monday that was left in the frig. we need to eat too... Might just keep the pork for sandwiches this weekend....I dunno - I forgot to get some coleslaw to put on the sandwiches. We're all on the go on Thurs. evening...so much food...so little time!

Oh, with Idol, I was disappointed that they pushed ole Archie so much. Cookie is so much better and more talented.

So, I thought there was a 10 call maximum per phone number for voting, but I got through at least 30 times or more.

Let's hope that Cookie wins it. I cannot stand to look at Archie. I just want to smack the stupid look off of his face.

Well all the votes help I am sure. I had a land line phone, I had my computer vote for me probably 1000 times or more per night. There has never been a limit on AI that I know of.

On another note, I have to say that unless either of these jokers comes out with something totally different than what they have done on the show so far, I probably won't get either of their music. They just aren't that good. Well good enough to take my time away from good old Dave Matthews music or even classics. They are like a new fad beer trying to take shelf space away from Heineken and Budweiser. I mean get over yourselves.

Ugh - Annie I cannot log onto VMK and stay there for more than 5 minutes. The crashing is getting worse. If I attempt to load the guest rooms, send a message, trade or find a friend I crash.

While crashing has always been a problem, this is waaaayyy bad. And what a rotten way to end the game.

Tell your son I will keep trying though I suspect bedtime is looming.
