We woke up all bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7:30am. Minnie annouced to all that we would be spending the day at Epcot. That was fine with the rest of us, except Walt, who being an typical wanted to go to AK and conquer EE again. Sorry, Walt, we veto that idea. AK is way too hot for today! We got ready and headed to the Kona Koffee bar for our usual fix. I wanted to tell our friend behind the counter that today was our last day with her and thank her for her service. Well, low and behold, our friend was gone and a complete stranger was there to take our order. She didn't know our *usual*. So we had to verse her in the
Disneyland Family morning ritual. She did just fine and we headed over to the seating area to eat our psuedo breakfast of coffee and paistries. We finished up and met Nini and Waldo at the monorail line. They had to eat/drink on the way to Epcot. I wait for no one!
We make it over to Epcot around 9:15 am and no one is there. It's empty, and it's Sunday??? Ok... I'm loving off season.
We head over to the Living Seas and on the way we are seduced by a very empty Character Connection. We stop for Minnie, who wants to socialize with her buddies.
We make it out of there and head for the LS again. Of course we must stop for a quick photo op.
Notice Little EE is not in the shot? Well that's because he refuses to leave his stroller. The little darling!

Grrrrr!! We enter the LS and are told by a CM that Turtle Talk was just about to start. So we figure, it must be empty, right? Wrong, it's packed, so enter, then make a quick exit. We've seen it enough times at DCA, we can skip it today. Minnie finds the Kidcot station, so we sit and color a shark and the others go upstairs to check out the aquariums. Minnie and I head upstairs and find the others looking at the sea turtles being fed. They are truely beautiful creatures. Walt is so excited because he found a hidden Mickey on the sandy bottom of the aquarium. I'm thinking... it's about time, kid, we've only been here for 5 days and this is your first one. I'm crabby, cause I haven't had enough caffiene. We'll fix that soon. We "find" Nemo and check out all the fish and head back downstairs for a great photo. Fish are friends, not food.
We walk over to The Land, only to find the boats are not working. We hadn't planned on riding Soarin', since we do it all the time at home, but Minnie asked to ride and since she hadn't really experienced much, we agreed. We grabbed a baby swap. Minnie rode with Nini, Waldo and Walt, while Joe and I stayed with EE.
We took EE over to the Sunshine Seasons eatery and got him a little snack of strawberries with whipped cream and Mama got a HUGE coke with lots of ice, so I could put my angry eyes away. We grabbed a table and enjoyed the time alone with EE. I introduced him to whipped cream and it was pure nirvana! He loved it! Who wouldn't? He was really cute eating his "Bewies and cweam."
The others meet up with us and now it our turn to ride. We know it's the same ride as home, but we still enjoy it. We point to the Hidden Mickey on the golf ball, just like always and the fireworks over Disneyland make us miss home. When we exit the ride, we find Waldo waiting for us. He says Little EE is acting like the devils spawn, so they took him outside. I know he's tired and cranky. We head over to Imagination! and convince Minnie that the little red cars ride is not scary and that this is a kiddie ride. She gets on and both kids love it. After the ride we check out the lab and all the computer stuff and decide to hit the other side of the park. Little EE falls asleep in his stroller, thank heaven!
We decide to hit M:S next. Joe and Nini opt out and stay with the kidlets. We park them in the shade and Waldo, Walt and I head for M:S. We decide to be on the Green Chicken Team, just to try it out. We love the ride, but feel the green side is a little too mild, but we're too chicken to do the orange side. We decide to grab some FP's for TT for later and we get the "bonus" FP for M:S. We're not sure we want to ride M:S so we hang on to them just in case. We find Joe and Nini and we are all ready for lunch, so we head to Electric Umbrella. Joe has his usual burger, Minnie order the chicken strips and I try the hot roast beef with provolone sammy. Our food is quite good. We all start talking about Disneyland's food and comparing the CS to WDW. WDW has much better CS. We hate the CS at DLR and DCA. Most of it is terrible... it tastes old and dried out. A few exceptions are Taste Pilots in DCA and Cafe Orleans in DLR.
With full tummys we are ready to continue. Joe and I are going to ride TT while the others stay with the kids. Minnie still won't ride TT, although, now that we're home, see regrets it. Sure, Minnie, sure!

We exit and find Minnie at the Kidcot station in TT again. We swap the kids and the others ride TT and Joe and I take the kids to Club Cool. We forgot about this the other day and wanted to make sure we checked it out. If anything, it's a great spot to cool off in.
Now, I knew about Beverly and couldn't wait to trick Joe. When we first entered, we couldn't find Beverly. So we just went about trying the other drinks. We liked the lemon-lime drink, I think it was from Israel??? I could be wrong. We make our way to the Build-a-Cup and low and behold... there it is... Beverly. I take out my camera and pretend to take photos of the kids, and tell Joe, hey try this one. Muahahahaha! I got him! The perfect photo!
The others meet up with us at Club Cool and I get Walt to try Beverly, too! Double Muahahaha!
We're all ready to hit WS and I count heads. Oh man, where's Waldo? I guess Waldo had to pishy and went in search of a restroom. Ok, does anyone know which restroom?

Great... we sit outside of Club Cool for 30 mins. I'm just about to

when all of a sudden, Nini yells out "I see him waaaaaay over there!" Pointing to the beginning of WS. All I see is a red shirt. We gather our stuff and start heading in the general direction and *poof* he's gone again. I'm really getting

at this point and so is Nini. We decide to blow him off and get on the Friendship boat to Morocco. As we're getting in line for the boat, Walt spots Waldo heading toward Canada. He shoots off to catch him yelling "Waldo! Hey Waldo!" Of course you know Waldo has shot hearing, so Walts efforts are in vain. Everyone else is turning around, but Waldo.

It's classic! Again, this is my gene pool. I'm a lucky girl! Walt finally catches Waldo and escorts him to the boat. We give Waldo the

and the "You're in trouble" look. Nini starts giving Waldo the 3rd degree about wandering and how we're wasting time looking for him. The rest of us are all

and I have to take a photo of Nini with her angry eyes on. (Of course, I know they are behind the sunglasses!) Trust me, the faces says it all!
We get off at Morocco and Waldo is walking next to me. He tells me "Your mother is mad at me...." Poor Waldo, but you think he'd learn after all this time. He's a tough pill to swallow, Nini deserves the Congressional Medal of Honor for dealing with this for 50+ years. But, he's my dad and I love him. His antics make us laugh everyday and my son adores him! They truely are best friends.
Nini is so mad at him, she tells me, she is going to go off by herself to do some shopping and she will meet us back at the Poly. I tell her ok and make sure she knows how to get back and I make sure she has her cell phone with her. I tell her to call me if she's lost or needs me. She's off. I got a pic of her taking off.... yellow shirt, black shorts, infront of Rose and Crown...
Epcot is so beautiful. I really, really love it here.
We go into France, so Minnie can get her mask stamped and colored. Waldo and Joe check out the Patisserie and thank heavens, they don't buy anything! Walt is hiding out in some corner talking to his girlfriend. Oh brother! I think he misses his friends and girlfriend. I mean how cool can it be to hang out with your Aunt, Uncle, baby cousins and grandparents at WDW? Minnie states she needs to stop at the UK kidcot station. We enter the toy store and tah dah! Trains... not just any trains... Thomas the Train. This is EE's world... his life... his joy. Joe takes EE out of the stroller before I can stop him. Now, I know this is a mistake of EPIC porportions! I just turn around and help Minnie color her mask. It's time to move on and little EE throws a HUGE tantrum... he screams, he cries, he does the limp noodle move, you know, everything I said my kids don't do. Yeah, egg in my face! I walk and watch Joe try to handle the situation. Finally, out of sheer sympathy, I go to EE, pick him up from the floor and leave the store. He cries and whimpers all the way to Canada, "Tawmus twain!" Joe and Waldo are in need of adult beverages. They hit the beer stand in UK and we make our way back to the Monorail. Good-bye Epcot. See you next year, I hope!
Up next: Does Nini find her way back to the Poly.... Dinner at Boma where I spy a disser... and getting Waldo out of the dog house.
