It was requested that I start a new list and not use the old one. So, the only ones who I have included are people who have posted in this new thread and asked to be added.

Anyone from the old list who has not posted here to update their status are not included.

The Dis DVC 5001 Point Club is a tongue-in-cheek thread, but there were a couple earnest posts of how members have used their considerable points (under 5001 points). Speculation of how 5001 (and more) points could be used ensued.

We are just over the 1000 point mark and we added points so we could take multiple trips and we could bring friends and family along. We have never stayed in a grand villa.

Please add us to the list for 2,015 points. ROFR just passed our 250-point Aulani contract so the 2,015 points are now official. 1,765 of the points are at Grand Floridian and the other 250 new points are at Aulani.

Congrats all of you!!
We are at 926 after adding on at VDH. The number 1000 scares me but so far all points are being used by ourselves, mostly studios with occasional 1-bedrooms. So maybe if I end up booking more 1-bedrooms over studios we may add on more. We’ll see.

Wow - you know what you like and you're not afraid to show it!

We haven't yet done any GV stays but I think they are in our future.
Last summer we had a family reunion for one side of our family in a 2br dedicated + a studio. We like Christmas break at VGF. Although we can do a studio for our family of 4, I think we will do 1brs that have murphy beds and 2br more in the future. My dad had to cancel on our last trip where we had booked 2BR units for him to join us. My kids thoroughly enjoyed having their own room and bathroom.
