We, the Scavenger Hunt & Meet and Greet committees, have an exciting announcement that I hope will help brighten your day a bit. For the first time the DIS Diva trip will have an overall trip theme! This is the theme that the scavenger hunt theme, the Meet and Greet theme, and other trip related items will be based on. And, our overall trip theme is..... "Wonderful World of Divas" I hope you are as excited about this as we are!

Anyone planning to run the new Star Wars Half Marathon that Disney just announced?

It's taking the place of the Tinkerbell Half, which got moved from January to Mother's Day weekend.

I'm on the fence, with less than 24 hours to decide. The cost of yet another runDisney weekend of races (I am signed up for Dumbo, Dopey, and Avengers) has me thinking beyond whether or not I want to run the Star Wars races (I do!) -- cumulative costs are becoming quite high.

Still, I am quite interested

What time on Wednesday, Feb 25 should I aim to arrive if I don't want to miss anything? And, are there scheduled events on Sunday, March 1, making Monday March 2 a better departure day (if I don't want to miss anything)?

I arrived on Wednesday and departed early Sunday morning. There was a dinner scheduled on Wednesday evening.

It might really be worth your while to join Facebook and the Diva Group there. If you need help doing that, I can walk you through it (all it would take is a brief phone call).

Thank you for the information, and for offering to walk me through signing up for Facebook! If I decide to sign up, I will absolutely take you up on the offer. Being able to develop friendships and stay in touch with the Dis Divas group is motivating. I will research my main concern, the privacy/lack-of-privacy aspect (I know it is not an issue to millions of users... I just have to check it out for myself).

Again, thank you for the kind offer -- I would benefit from and appreciate your tutorial; I am confused as to how the Facebook pages work. I have visited them before and can't discern how they are organized (no laughing!)

There will also be lunch planned on Wednesday, usually just a counter service meal and then a group photo at some point. Sunday morning we will have the farewell breakfast. Nothing else will be planned for Sunday. Most ladies leave late morning or early afternoon but some will stay until Monday. I personally like to arrive a day early so I can get in a lot of my must do rides and then focus on diva time after that. Welcome to the group!!!

Hi to all! I've been pretty sure I wouldn't be able to make 2015. I had soooo much fun on my first Diva trip this year and would love to make it a regular thing, but life keeps getting in the way. I was hoping it would be a WDW trip this fall that would keep me from going on the Diva trip, but even that looks like it's off the table. I still think that there is a 50/50 chance that I could swing it but I'm afraid I would not be joined by my daughter if I make it. I guess my planning will be last minute.
To any new Divas who may be unsure about joining the group, DO IT! These are the most wonderful ladies you could ever hope to share a trip to Disney with! So worth it!
