DIS Divas Trip! (old thread, see first post for link to new one)

Well I just printed off the schedule and also saved it into my Diva Folder.

Now for the meals, Beth, you know that I usually follow you around like a little puppy dog. I will probably do the same thing this time if you don't mind. Of course I will also have January and Sarah to dog also. You know me bashful, bashful, bashful. You would think at the ripe old age of 61 I would get over that but I am who I am.

I would be hurt if you didn't want to spend time with us! I can't wait to see you! I will let you know when I have my meals planned out so that at least you will know where one of your peeps will be!

And completely off topic, my son got the role of Hobie in the local theater's Best Christmas Pageant Ever play this Christmas.

Now, for bed!

Beth I don't know if you saw my post on FB but I talked to mom yesterday and she doesn't want to cancel our room ressie yet. I don't think we should go this year but she is holding out cuz she really wants to stay at the Grand. So as I mentioned on FB you can leave us on the room/attendee list but we are just not going to sign up for anything. Then that way if for some miracle we can go we will just do the stuff that doesn't require signups. Thanks.

I may have at least two ladies from work talked into joining us. Both are crazy like myself so I really hope they join. I may end up getting a room for us since I am the girl standing on the side waving saying pick me pick me (last to be chosen of course my own fault for not figuring out what I want to do sooner). Fingers crossed they say yes and I can start making more plans.

And now, what you've all been waiting for......details of our 2014 group t-shirt! There is no image available yet, but the color is going to be royal blue to go with a royal fairytale theme. The image on the shirt is going to be a royal crest. Placed within the different sections of the crest are images representing each princess. An apple for Snow White, a glass slipper for Cinderella, a sea shell for Ariel, a rose for Belle, etc. There will be decorative scrolls throughout the crest, and at the top a princess crown. A banner at the bottom will show the words "Once Upon a Dis Diva", same as our hunt theme.

Well it was just yesterday I thought I may have 2 co workers join me and thought my needing roomies was coming to an end. I jumped the gun on that I guess because once I started sharing some of the cost they seemed to get cold feet.
Now once again I am looking for anyone needing a roomie. I do have an air mattress so if someone was wanting to have someone but didn't want to share a bed I could do this.

I am so excited to announce that my two daughters, one of my DILs and her mother and sister are coming on the trip. Hoping my other DIL changes her mind to come along also.

I am still rooming with Cheryl, Linda and Bree.

They are going to call the Grand, and see if there are any rooms available for five. After they find out, I will let you know their sleeping arrangements, and of course their names to add to the official list.

Then, I needs to get Capri lots more money in time!

And pin them down for eats, tee shirts and so on.

Oh, and they will only be staying Thursday and Friday night.

I can't wait to introduce them to you all. They certainly hear about all of you, and have helped me a bunch on the tees. Now, they will get to bling their own.

My BFF and his wife are at DL today thru Thursday. They've been texting me photos. I'm waiting (not so) patiently for the foodporn pics from their WOC Dinner at Carthay I made them go see Aladdin today. They've never seen it.

I know I seem a bit stingy, but I have checked with my transplant coordinator and her suggestion to me is room alone or with family. I just do not want to seem piggy . I want to remind any one that I do 10+ hours of treatments an evening which can at times be noisy especially if I end up having those dreaded bells and whistles going off at 3 am. My poor husband got the middle of the night what -- what -- eyes still closed -- huh sound. Had to call the help guy and we figured it out after 45 mins. Husband was like how much does that happen? Sigh-- don't you listen to me LOL . He has a hospital bed brought in for our stays as well he needs one so he has missed the late night calls to get me dializing again. Yep we are those people sleep in separate rooms due to his being in single hospital bed and that there is no room for all my stuff in his ADA room--- LOL. Just a side note DL hotels ( all 3 have had hospital beds brought in on separate occasions) they will take out one of the beds and place the rented hospital bed in it's place for your arrival. So if you ever need one Dekert's is great and DL Hotels are super.
