Update on my puppy dog situation. I had to say goodbye to my beautiful baby girl Maxine yesterday. The cancer moved too quickly and she was unable to eat or drink on her own. She was faithfully by my side for 14 years and will be profoundly missed. I can't believe a little over 2 months ago she wasn't even sick. I'm lost without her.

When I was a kid my Dad painted our front door a reddish orange color. I really liked it and it made our house stand out from all the rest on the street.

Thank you Bridgett - I told her I would see her but to go and play until I got there. We lost another baby last December and they were very close so I envision them playing together again happily.

Thank you Mel - she was always by my side and I loved coming home from work to be greeted by her and take her for a walk (even when it was 115 degrees outside) I didn't care as long as she was happy.

Just a quick howdy, since I haven't stopped by in awhile.

Just chased DS12 off the Xbox (good grief, you'd think there was literally NOTHING else to do in the world!) and soon must pick up DS9 from baseball camp.

It's gonna be a roasty 86F today (for the NW that's pretty dang warm) and we have a few appointments to run this afternoon. I will NOT be popular, heh! Will appease the little beasties with some evening pool time.

I am just under 6 weeks out until my due date, but am so ready for the princess to arrive! I have a foot jammed under my rib cage and cannot sleep well. Starting August 1st I am trying every old wives tale to get labor going We have maternity photos tonight and I spent the day sewing wipes, burp rags, and wash clothes; little decorative preps in the nursery, and washing the newborn cloth diapers. I cannot wait to see her little booty in a fluffy diaper

On another note, it was great seeing some of you Diva's in SF at the museum! Reading the letters after Walt's death made me tear up and it was really cool to see the mini Disneyland and all of the rides I had read about but never experienced. Thanks Bridgett for letting me be your guest!

I need to get away and regroup before the students start making their way to campus. It has been a tough summer and I'm hoping the busy-ness of the start of school will help.
