DIS Divas Trip! (old thread, see first post for link to new one)

I suck at guessing games. All I could think of is that show Once Upon a Time. It had a dragon, a giant, a princess and lots of magic, but I know that's not it....

I'm going to second a Once Upon a Time theme. I know the committee and one of the ladies love/obsession of the show. All the clues fits so far. Divas Once Upon a Time?

I have zero imagination, all I can think of is Mickey and the Beanstalk "Seven with one blow!", but I don't recall princesses or dragons there. So yeah. Gimme more clues!

I'm home with a yucky cold or something today, so I have nothing better to do than try to figure it out. I had a great weekend, joined the March against Monsanto in Seattle on Saturday, then wandered around Folklife at Seattle Center. Sunday we did a 3 mile walk around Langus park in Everett, then Monday we hiked Mt. Si. I think that may have been what got me. It was pretty warm at the bottom, and just barely sprinkling, but at the top it was raining and windy and cold, so we hopped in the hot tub when we got home and then went to see Star Trek: Into Darkness. Yesterday at work I was fine, although my knees were sore, but this morning I woke up sounding like the lady on the stop smoking radio ads and feeling like I just ran a marathon (sweaty, weak and shaky). After several small naps, a banana and some therapeutic Doctor Who, I'm feeling much better.

Jen---sounds like you had a rough go at work lately....so glad you get to relax and get paid. Sorry you had to deal with all that drama. Who needs that, especially when you're pregnant. Seriously.

So my family is down at DL right now..my mom, brothers, aunts, cousins...sigh. Here I am stuck in freeking Rexburg, Idaho. They planned an impromptu trip down to visit family and decided to hit DL! I am so jealous!!! The only solace I have is knowing I will be in WDW in less than 4 months. AND I will be hanging with my Divas soon too!!!

Interesting guesses on the hunt theme. I'm lousy when it comes to this sort of thing so I'll just enjoy reading what everyone comes up with.

my guess is Mickey and the Beanstalk because he gets "seven in one blow". There's a giant (obviously LOL), he wins the Princess when he defeats the giant, the beanstalk itself would be magical but there's no dragon.....

So Maleficent comes to mind, Aurora would be her Princess, Maleficent turns into a giant dragon......

I live less than 5 minutes away from where they film the show -- they are expected to start again this July for next season!

In any case, I LOVE that show. Sounds like it's going to be an awesome, fun theme.
When you posted the first clue, magical, the first thing that popped in my mind was Mr. Gold saying, "Magic always comes with a price." So, that's what made me think of that. I adore him. He rocks.

Is the hunt going to be back in Disneyland then?

That's so cool. I'd love to see those pics.

I also watch the Bates Motel, which is supposed to be filmed in West Vancouver, British Columbia area. Such a pretty location.

Oh, and now my mother wants to come along. She's going to check with her best friend to see if she wants to go too, and if so I'll be booking their room and ordering all their stuffs. No scavenger hunt for them, though, they'll sit and watch us all run around like crazy. Beth, I'll send you a message if they decide to go. And I'm sticking with my current roommates no matter how much she tries to get me to switch; I love my mom and her friend, but bunking with them would drive me nuts.
