The nighttime shot of the DCA entrance almost looks like a piece of art.....just enough blur to give it a whole new look but not too blurry to distort the whole picture. No way he could repeat that picture!!!

He had fun....I was never worried about him having fun going solo.

I like the one shaped like that which is a Smores......yum yum!!! Usually you can find these at the Candy Palace on Main Street....but with that closed right now, you can get this at Pooh's Corner.

More great shots! Ty really got some amazing ones inside splash!! I know Michayla's surgery is coming up. Was it today? I thought you said the 3rd but I guess I was wrong.

Either way I am praying for you all and I am sure she will do great! Prayers to you for peace and to be able to get through it yourself. I am sure it must be gut wrenching!! ((Hugs))

SO A LITTLE RUNDOWN FOR TODAY: MICHAYLA WENT IN TO HAVE HER ATRIAL SEPTUM DEFECT (HOLE) REPAIRED. IT WAS THOUGHT TO BE THE SIZE OF A DIME, BUT WHEN THEY GOT IN THERE THEY FOUND IT TO BE THE SIZE OF A NICKEL....SO MUCH LARGER. THEY ALSO FOUND 2 ADDITIONAL HOLES THAT ALSO WERE PATCHED. SHE IS IN THE ICU UNTIL THEY KNOW SHE IS STABLE ENOUGH TO MOVE TO THE REGULAR KIDS WARD. SHE IS BEING KEPT PRETTY DRUGGED, BUT DOES WAKE OCCASIONALLY QUITE DISORIENTED, SCARED & HURTING. THE NURSES ARE ON TOP OF THESE EPISODES & GET HER CALMED BACK DOWN WITH MEDS. WE ARE PLEASED WITH HOW WELL SHE'S DOING & CAN'T THANK EVERYONE ENOUGH FOR ALL THEIR SUPPORT & PRAYERS DURING THIS TIME. IT'S APPRECIATED MORE THAN WE'LL EVER BE ABLE TO SAY!!!

Day Two, February 24th......our Purple Castle Shirt Day.

I got early to hit the park for the 8am opening. Tyler decided to sleep in & so I headed off to meet up with the Divas for the Princess Fantasy Faire picture. I walked up Main Street & headed towards the Matterhorn/Fantasyland. The beautiful mountain is under a major refurbishment, so it was kinda sad to see it all wrapped up & workers with hard hats working on it.

As I was headed that way, I looked to the right at Pixie Hollow & it was open......and there was no line....at all!!!! I asked the CM, "are you open?" & she said "Yes". So I went up the path to get some pics with the fairies!! I got to go right back & met Silvermist. Addy hasn't seen her, so she was like.....AWWWWWWWWWW....lol

Then of course, I got some time with Tinkerbell.

Since I still had about 20 mins before I needed to be up at the PFF, I turned into Fantasyland to see if I could spot any other Divas. I found Daisy, her MIL Jill, Miss Sally, Paula & Sarah. They were just coming off Peter Pan. I'm not sure where Miss Sally & Paula headed next, but Daisy, Jill, Sarah & I headed towards Alice....making a stop at the teacup photo op. There was a photopass photographer....so you'll have to wait to see that picture.....but let's put it this way....those teacups aren't made for 4 grown women....just sayin'

So we got in line for Alice & took a ride. When we got off....there wasn't any line for the teacups.....so we did that next. Daisy passed as she was having back issues & since we had such a tight squeeze for our pic....I opted to ride solo in a cup. Here's Jill & Sarah!!

We were seeing other Divas heading up towards PFF, so we did as well. Here are pics of all the lovely purple clad Divas taking over the PFF area.

While we were exiting another photopass photographer had us stop & pose with a heart. They were going to use some of the pics for the Magic, Memories & You show that is shown on IASW. I'm not sure if any of the Divas got over to see the show & whether our pics where included or not.

Those group photos look like so much fun. And I can't help but notice the little Stitch on Lisas bag. So cute!!

Too bad about the Matterhorn, but excited to see it's improvements. I am kinda hoping it's not as bumpy and rough with the new cars on it.
