DIS/DISUnplugged/Dreams December Event Info – DISapalooza (continued)

BTW who did get the high score. I cant find it posted.

Kenny the Pirate is his board name. Not a frequent poster on the Podcast Board. According to the conversation I had with him, he was #1, #2 and #4 on the high score board.

Through some great coaching and team work, I got #3. :cool1::cool1:

I just checked my psychology quiz score and I got a 26 out of 30!!! WOOHOO!!!:cool1::banana: I'm soo excited!!!

Good morning everyone!! I'm almost done for the semester and I can't wait!! Couple more days!!

Was anyone on here stuck in that monorail that was in the news?? I just read about that a few days ago and thought about some of you. I hope everyone was ok!!

Also...I LOOOVE all the pics from the weekend so far!! It looked like it was a great weekend!!!:lovestruc

Just checking in and catching up with the post DAP posts! As some of you know we are STILL in WDW! :yay: Kat talked me into 4 more days, so I find myself at OKW once again. The rumors of how she managed this are false (Family board, can't explain) :rolleyes1 The truth is, a lack of work at home (contract finished) and just us for Christmas, made it all possible so I couldn't say no. Well...........I could..........but didn't. We leave Saturday for that long drive home, and I'm hoping for good weather so as not to take us tooooo long to complete the almost 1400 miles. Planning on stopping in West Virginia this time, and Pennsylvania to catch "Fallingwater" with snow, which we missed on the way down.

Heres a link to some Fallingwater photos, to show why I love this place soooo much.

Last weekend was amazing, and like so many others, we found ourselves catching up on our sleep. Special thanks to "The Team" and especially the Genius for all the hard work that went into planning it. Can't wait to see some of you again in April on the ABD trip, and even more of you during PCC 2.0. Who knows, maybe a quick trip to a DISmeet this summer may be in the cards, so many more States to visit.....:scratchin:.....we'll see. Glad to hear everyone got home safe and sound (other than Tracey's luggage and that spousal abuse thingy. :lmao:) and our apologies to those that we missed meeting this time. It was such a hectic weekend. Hugs to all! Now to go download pics and start posting them.

It was great seeing you and Katherine again. Texas De Brazil was totally awesome! BTW - Anna sends a big THANK YOU to you guys for her special treats.

Also, please feel free to add Indiana to your list of states to visit next year. We'd love you guys to come down for the Indy meet over Labor Day Weekend (Saturday, Sept. 4th).

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

We had an incredible time this weekend and were really impressed with how friendly and welcoming the podcast team and all of our fellow DISers were. :grouphug: This was our first DIS event so we hadn't really put any faces to names, but we were quickly put at ease by everyone's friendliness. We truly enjoyed getting to finally meet several of you and were surprised at how many ABDers we met over the weekend. Katherine - thank you for the candy canes..the kids absolutely love them and that was extremely kind of you and John! :goodvibes

I think our experience on DIS will now go to a different level now that we know the person and not just not the screen name. Thank you all for making it such a great weekend on so many different levels and for welcoming us into the family with such open arms. :grouphug:

Tell the kids there welcome, I am glad they liked them!
I was so glad we got to meet each other. Wish we would have had a little more time together.
There was so much going on I missed not getting some quality time with a lot of people.:hug:
I did make some new friends as well, and am very happy about that.

Now good morning everyone! :dance3::)
We are at Old Key West until Saturday and then we will start the adventure home. I am going to atempt to get caught up on the dis this morning! :flower3:

This is my first time back on the boards since I got home. I had such a wonderful time this weekend. Seeing all of my friends again and getting to meet even more friends was just the best. I am hoping to get to see some of you BEFORE PCC 2.0. I might have to go to the Indy meet this year. And if anyone is going to WDW after Easter, let me know.

Kim

You said it George. I thought I'd be worn out from the heavy amount of walking through the parks, but that wasn't the case at all. It was the lack of sleep that caught up with me this trip. Late nights and early mornings are not condusive to someone who's in their 40's. :surfweb:

Young pup. You, Lunny, and the hockey puck M&M dude. :rotfl:

I completely agree. I am just not used to going to bed at 2:30 a.m. and getting up at 7:00 a.m. It catches up with you, doesn't it? I wouldn't have done it any other way, but I do have to admit that I am still dragging.

I hear you Aaron. I was up at 5:30am to get ready for the GKTW group on Saturday morning, and then we were up until 1:00am that same day for the TSM party. Sunday, up for breakfast at Chef Mickeys, and then up until 1:00am for the Christmas Party. I have been struggling to keep my eyes open since getting home. It was great seeing everyone though. I just wish I had more time to talk with everyone. There were so many people to catch up with. I am glad I got to see people again.

I want to say thank you to Katherine (katscradle) and all my dis friends for the fabulous birthday celebration during Yeeha Bob. I was so touched by the time and thought that went into that. There is not a better group of people to celebrate with. You are all incredibly special. Thinking about how special you all made me feel is making me tear up again. I can't tell you how happy I am to have found this wonderful community. It has changed my life forever.

Kim you are welcome! :love:
You are a very special friend, John and I thought it was great that you were going to be there for your birthday. We decided we should celebrate it. :dance3:
The rest of our wonderful friends jumped on this so fast it was all I could do to keep things straight.:woohoo::yay::dance3:
I am glad we could make this memory with you! :hug::hug::hug:
We feel the same way about the boards, they have changed our lives, and the way we vacation. :banana::)
See you in April! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Of course you don't. You're too young. :)

Hi Dodie. Yes it does catch up. So what do I do? Last night I stay up to almost 1AM formatting/editing trip pictures for the Photo Channel on the Nintendo Wii. You add pictures and .m4a audio files to SD memory cards then enjoy your photos and holiday music together in a slideshow. Neat little feature of the Wii. :thumbsup2
