Good for you! Was Matt a cutie? He sounds like one.
Jaime, hurry up with the lanyard pics. I'm dying to see them now!
I'm still in shock at how great of a weekend it was. I had a BLAST and am so thankful for the DIS (yet again).![]()

It was great seeing you and Katherine again. Texas De Brazil was totally awesome! BTW - Anna sends a big THANK YOU to you guys for her special treats.Just checking in and catching up with the post DAP posts! As some of you know we are STILL in WDW!Kat talked me into 4 more days, so I find myself at OKW once again. The rumors of how she managed this are false (Family board, can't explain)
The truth is, a lack of work at home (contract finished) and just us for Christmas, made it all possible so I couldn't say no. Well...........I could..........but didn't. We leave Saturday for that long drive home, and I'm hoping for good weather so as not to take us tooooo long to complete the almost 1400 miles. Planning on stopping in West Virginia this time, and Pennsylvania to catch "Fallingwater" with snow, which we missed on the way down.
Heres a link to some Fallingwater photos, to show why I love this place soooo much.

Last weekend was amazing, and like so many others, we found ourselves catching up on our sleep. Special thanks to "The Team" and especially the Genius for all the hard work that went into planning it. Can't wait to see some of you again in April on the ABD trip, and even more of you during PCC 2.0. Who knows, maybe a quick trip to a DISmeet this summer may be in the cards, so many more States to visit.....:.....we'll see. Glad to hear everyone got home safe and sound (other than Tracey's luggage and that spousal abuse thingy.
) and our apologies to those that we missed meeting this time. It was such a hectic weekend. Hugs to all! Now to go download pics and start posting them.
We had an incredible time this weekend and were really impressed with how friendly and welcoming the podcast team and all of our fellow DISers were. This was our first DIS event so we hadn't really put any faces to names, but we were quickly put at ease by everyone's friendliness. We truly enjoyed getting to finally meet several of you and were surprised at how many ABDers we met over the weekend. Katherine - thank you for the candy canes..the kids absolutely love them and that was extremely kind of you and John!
I think our experience on DIS will now go to a different level now that we know the person and not just not the screen name. Thank you all for making it such a great weekend on so many different levels and for welcoming us into the family with such open arms.

You said it George. I thought I'd be worn out from the heavy amount of walking through the parks, but that wasn't the case at all. It was the lack of sleep that caught up with me this trip. Late nights and early mornings are not condusive to someone who's in their 40's.Morning peeps.
Still trying to catch up on sleep. I am beat.![]()

I hear you Aaron. I was up at 5:30am to get ready for the GKTW group on Saturday morning, and then we were up until 1:00am that same day for the TSM party. Sunday, up for breakfast at Chef Mickeys, and then up until 1:00am for the Christmas Party. I have been struggling to keep my eyes open since getting home. It was great seeing everyone though. I just wish I had more time to talk with everyone. There were so many people to catch up with. I am glad I got to see people again. You said it George. I want to say thank you to Katherine (katscradle) and all my dis friends for the fabulous birthday celebration during Yeeha Bob. I was so touched by the time and thought that went into that. There is not a better group of people to celebrate with. You are all incredibly special. Thinking about how special you all made me feel is making me tear up again. I can't tell you how happy I am to have found this wonderful community. It has changed my life forever.
Kenny the Pirate is his board name. Not a frequent poster on the Podcast Board. According to the conversation I had with him, he was #1, #2 and #4 on the high score board.
Through some great coaching and team work, I got #3.![]()
I have no idea what you mean?![]()
I completely agree. I am just not used to going to bed at 2:30 a.m. and getting up at 7:00 a.m. It catches up with you, doesn't it? I wouldn't have done it any other way, but I do have to admit that I am still dragging.
Young pup. You, Lunny, and the hockey puck M&M dude.![]()
Puck should be exempt from the sleep problem since he's the youngest pup, but it appears he's 37 going on 52.I have no idea what you mean?![]()
