DIS Digital Scrapper's Challenge WEEK 3 -- 4/30 - 5/6

I hope I met all the elements. It's related to a Disney ride because all the pictures are from when we're in line for POTC. I'm counting the "yo ho" as my clear alpha because the middle of the letters are clear (gotta go get Britt's clear alpha one day soon). Even number of pictures, check. And for the circular element, I modified the background paper so the skull and crossbones are circular.

Anyway... I hope it counts :rotfl2:

Oh, I forgot to list credits. The stitches are from Marie's stitches (and that's all I remember from the name of it because I installed it as a brush in PS and now can't remember where I got it). The rum bottles are a picture I found online. The paper is my own. I think that's everything.

You covered everything! Nice work!

Awesome LO's ladies. I looked and looked for this thread and somehow missed it until this morning. I've been thinking of doing some ride LO's so hopefully will get one in this weekend.

Me too! I'll be working on mine over the weekend also. Great layouts everyone!

Let's see some more layouts, ladies! Maybe you can use some of the stuff you bought yesterday!! I know I bought plenty of stuff...

Here are my layouts for the challenge. Living with the Land is my official entry for the challenge since it is the only one with a circular element (the date tab). I did Living with the Land first and then put together the left side with other pictures from The Land. I guess I'm a two-pager kind of girl.

Susan -- that is beautiful! I never thought to use one of the quotes from the queue line. What a great idea! That is one of my son's favorite rides. I'm going to have to do a LO like that!!

ETA, it is even prettier as a 2 pager! I'm a 2 page kind of gal, too, but I'm trying to do one page at a time with digital. I do try to make the pages at least coordinate if I know tthey will be next to each other in the book I"m working on!

ngneer98 - Great layouts! I've never been to Disneyland so I've never seen this ride. Your layouts made me want to go!

labdogs42 - What an incredible Tomorrowland layout! It glows! You captured the feel of Tomorrowland in such a creative way! Love it!

bookmompooh - Great teacup layout! I love the colors and the balance of your pictures!

Fran98765 - Love your IASM layout! The colors you used are gorgeous! Your BTMR layout is wonderful, too! I love taking pictures from behind on rides. The picture of your son is awesome.

- Your layout is beautiful and radiant. I love your placement of photos and your clustering of elements. Amazing work!

Britt - Love your work as always! Your clustering of elements is amazing!! I love how you do two-pagers. I'm a two-pager kind of girl (rooted in my to my 12 years of CM scrapbooking). I've learned so MUCH from you!

marileeh - Your layout is too fun! The guy in the jeep cracks me up. I love the colors on your page and the way you mixed the diferent fonts and elements.

Tinker326 - Great Everest layout! It's one of our favorite rides and you really captured it very well! I take pictures from behind on this ride. Seeing those broken tracks brings back fun memories for me. Great job on your layout! (p.s. is your birthday 3/26? I have0326 in my username because that's my bday)

dznyscrapper - Your Splash Mountain layout is wonderful! I love all the different elements and papers you used. Splash Mountain is our favorite ride in Magic Kingdom and you captured the fun of this ride.

Gytchy - Your layout is terrific! I've never been to Disneyland, so it wsa neat to see this ride in a latyou. Great job!

Hypermommy - Yo! your Yo Ho! layout is too fun. It looks like your family has fun together. I love the skull paper you made and the stitches are too neat!

carsmom53 - Beautiful layout! The alphas tucked in the torn-paper waves is really awesome! The colors work really nice together and makes it feel very beach-y. Great job!

I finally got this finished. Yeah! This was one of the last rides we rode on our last trip to D-land/CA Adv. BY the end of the vacation, the kids were tired. Unfortunately, the ride ended up being miserable. Dd1 cried the whole time and Dd2 started shaking and turning red because she didn't like it. Maybe when we go in November, it will be different. LOL

Thanks for a fun challenge!

It's Sunday night and I have not started on the layout for this week's challenge. I love all of the pages and am enjoying seeing everyone's families. I spent a lot of time doing challenges yesterday, and we had a musical to go to today so I never was able to get started on this one. I spent way too much time downloading freebies and discounted items yesterday! I better get to work tomorrow! I can't miss a week!

One more day to get your entries in!!

I am going to get my LO in today . . . I am going to get my LO in today . . . I am going to get my LO in today . . . I am going to get my LO in today . . .

If I keep repeating it, I might just do it!

Here's my entry. I don't have a transparent alpha so I used typed "Cinderella's Golden Carrousel" and changed the opacity. Hope that's OK.

Great layouts everyone!

I was going to try to get one done last night, but it took forever to upload my photos from Disneyland to Shutterfly.

Good luck to everyone! :)
