DIS Digi-Scrappers Challenge WEEK 24! 9/24-9/30 WINNERS!!!

Thanks Caits for hosting a fun challenge!

Expedition Everest is a feast for the eye! I'm always amazed by all the wonderful things to see in the Expedition Everest queue. They really did their homework because their attention to detail really makes you feel transported to Asia in search of the Yeti.

EE is one of our top three attractions! I really almost get disappointed when we don't have to wind through the entire queue.

Caits -- thanks for the inspiration..... The ultimate "detail" me for on our cruise was listening to the ship's horn bellow "when you wish upon a star" as it left port.... gives me goosebumps... SUCH a magical touch... You are right -- Disney thinks of everything... To record the memory, I decided to revamp a LO of the ship I did a while back, change the title and journal about the awesome "detail." I like the LO much more than the original because it is more menaingful to me now. :)

That is beautiful!! One of the prettiest layouts I have ever seen.

Here is mine. I decided to go with Pop. I love all the fun details of the different decades.

Thanks for another great challenge Caitsmama! :)

My computer was just running sooooo slow last night - it took me 1.5 hrs to do 2 layouts! That is crazy!! I could have finished 10 by hand in that time! LOL

LOL! In 1.5 hours I could not have even hauled OUT all of my paper scrap supplies, let alone gotten 10 LOs done!! Of course, SOME of us are spoiled and have craft rooms where we can leave everything set up... I already told my 5 year old when he leaves for college, his room is being converted! :rotfl:

Here's my entry. I'm still not sure I like the journaling. But at 1:45am I'm not going back to change it.

Thanks for hosting, Stacy! Sorry we didn't get to meet on the cruise. :sad1: Although I don't paper scrap I wanted to stop into Linda's workshop to say hello but my DH and I got tied up in something else that day and I never made it.

Here's my LO for this week:

ngneer:What a great LO. I also really like your cluster.
DisneyCruiser2008: Beautiful picture and LO! I especially like Tink helping out with a little fairy dust!
Susan:EE is one of my very favorite rides. You captured the details nicely! Great LO!
yzerbear:I have never stayed at Pop, but it looks like a lot of fun! Great job.
Robin:How great! Very cute LO. I'm glad everything settled out and that you had a great time!
Janis:Very nice! We didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked on our last trip to CC. Hopefully next time! Great beach colors.

Jenifer, great double page LO! The DCL has lots of wonderful touches and details. Great color choices with the red, white and blue!

I'm sad with myself that I didn't get pics of more of these. I thought we'd be coming back to MK on our last day, but we didn't (and then more annoyed because we *could* have gone back with our stupid plane delays!) I have some far away shots of some others, for example, the firehouse has pumpkins carved with a dog & fire hydrant.

Great layouts guys! You are totally rockin' this challenge!! This is just one of my fav things to snap pics of in WDW or the DCL - I am just always amazed at the thought that is put into each little thing.. I just love it!!

I love Hidden Mickeys and my LO shows just a few of them at Rafiki's Planet Watch in the Animal Kingdom. If you're looking for detail, there's even a Hidden Mickey on an ant, but I didn't have a picture of that. These are just a few from the murals there.

Whew! I finally got mine done. I've been thinking about it all week and just didn't make time to do it.

But its done now and I LOVE how it turned out!!

The journaling says: The details at Disneyland are part of the magic! And Dumbo has some of the neatest details in the park! From the magic feathers they give you before you board the ride, to the ride itself, to the elephant and feather crest decorating the awnings around the ride. But my favorite detail has got to be the "Believe and Soar!" saying under the crests! It gives me chills!

These layouts do amaze me! So fun to look at!

Thank you!!!! I am so excited! :jumping1: I feel like I have a long way to go compared to you experienced scrappers! :worship: You see, I am a scientist by training and really need to develop my creative side. Thanks also to Britt for her generosity!
