DIS Digi-Scrappers Challenge #7 (5/28 - 6/3)

Here's mine. This was the Enchanted mini-parade before Disney Dreams Come True in Magic Kingdom. I haven't had much time to scrap this past week due to VBS at church. This is what I have so far but it doesn't feel finished yet. Since I may not be able to work on it, I'm going to post what I have so far.

All the layouts you've all posted look amazing!

Here is my entry.... just the left side. It's all Britt-ish Design elements. The right side is a quickpage from Britt-ish Design, all I added was the word "parade". I just wanted you to see both pages together. I wish I could figure out how to include the pages in this post. Hopefully you can follow these links.

Love the Enchanted Parade LO by Susan 0326. The kit is just a perfect choice! I never knew they did this and I want to see it right now, instead of being stuck in the house in a cold and wet England! :worship:

I FINALLY got to mine!! Whew.

Thanks for this fun challenge Disney Baby! Gave me the nudge I needed to start scrapping my parade pictures!! :) Sometimes I think, why do I take these and why should I scrap them?!! But then I saw some parade pictures from my parents honeymoon to Disneyland in 1978 and it was a CRACK UP to see what the parades were like!!! So I know these will be fun for my kids to see, even if we're not actually IN the pictures.

xoxo

Here is my attempt. I don't know how to make torn paper. I searched online, but didn't like the way it was done in the tutorial I found. I had to go ahead and complete the page because of the deadline. If someone knows of a better way to make torn paper, please let me know.

I am packing up to go to the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington tomorrow. If I can get internet, I will see what the next challenge is here and at SM.

They only did it for about 2 weeks, as promotion for the Enchanted DVD release. I was lucky enough to see it in March (I LOVE Enchanted, and am disappointed it's virtually invisible at the parks)

I love Disney parades, and love seeing all the different ones in everyone's great LOs!!

Mrs Hobbes,

Welcome! We are excited to have you on board. I love your layout -
At some point, I am going to have to make one like it that looks like the pictures are tacked up!!! I love it when they make the parades all Christmasy!

Hi I'm new to the creative community and digital scrapbooking, I have introduced myself properly in a new thread that i started earlier.

Here is my layout, it doesn't meet all the requirements but I like it too much to change it now. I just wanted to share it with you all, it would be lovely to get some opinions on how I'm doing. I really want to learn how to do all the amazing techniques that you all use and where to find the beautiful templates so I can improve my layouts for our next trip.

Hope the image size is ok :)

This is a beautiful layout! I love the details at the bottom and your wordart for the title. I also like how your torn piece makes a perfect space for your date!! Thanks for participating :) It is always really cool to see pictures of limited time only stuff. Thanks for sharing too!

virginiajen,

Cool layout! I love all the stars to go with your title! The glitter stars look sooooooooooo good on your page. I also like your arc or stars with the journaling on top! Thanks for taking the time to post!

Here's mine...I always stick to "people" so it was fun to do something with some of my parade pics!

Britt,

I love the Santa pictures. I am going to have to pull up the end of the MK parade in WDW and compare them :) I have realy enjoyed seeing the other parades. If I can get my butt in gear - I can finish mine tonight and post. I love the snowflake "stickers" and the date stamp. The alpha for Santa is also really great on this layout! Thanks for participating!!!!!

Your torn piece looks good. I like all of the sparkle to compliment the lights. I also like the charm with the date. Is this the Electric Light Parade? Great Job on the layout! Thanks for posting!!

Hi Everyone!

First of all, a big thank you to everyone that participated! I really enjoyed all of the different parades and now I have an entire library of pages to scraplift;) You are a talented group!

I also wanted to thank Britt for her support with these challenges. I finally did a page - here it is!

I will post the winners in the next post!

Thank you so much for participating. A special thank you to Britt for contacting Erica Zane and of course to Erica - thank you for supporting us - you are a talented designer!

When I host again - I am going to do random draw for both prizes. The decision was really difficult! My daughter picked Tinker326's layout because she said it made her feel the "magic". :wizard: The random draw winner is Hypermommy!

Congratulations to the winners!!! I hope somebody we can keep this going!!
