Hi and welcome to my torturous week of hosting the challenge!! This week we are going to scrap Animals! Inspired by my DH, when I mentioned it was my week to host and choose the challenge, he said that you should all scrap the white rhino from my local zoo... turns out that the Indianapolis Zoo did a male white rhino swap with Animal Kingdom for breeding purposes. We learned this from our zoo a few weeks prior to going to Disney and after hopping off Kilimanjaro Safari, the first thing DH had to do was ask about our rhino. Talking to one of the clueless CMs, we had to explain the whole story to him and then he remembered that there was a new white rhino. He mentioned that he doesn't go out on the savanna very often because the other rhinos don't like him and he gets into fights with them.... how proud we are of our local rhinos...
Anyway I degress... but it does lead into my challenge for you.
A - A for animal of course, make your LO be about an actual animal at WDW/DL/any park.
N - Not one of the animals on showcase at AK (unless that's really all you have)
I - Include ribbons
M - Make one original element (anything paper, tag, whatever)
A - Are you mad at me yet?
L - Love ya! and since white rhinos inspired this challenge, use the color white!
Rules:
1) Follow the guidelines as best as possible. Try to use non-exhibit animals (ie ducks, bunnies or the alligator out our window at WL), if you don't have any pics of those... you may use exhibit animals. Don't have any of those either... well um get creative!
2) Your subject needs to be Disney related. That's why we have these challenges! To give us the nudge to get ALL those Disney memories scrapped!!!
Britt said she was working on a prize, if we get one awesome, if not, we got a page done and had some fun! More details will be added once known. ETA: Britt is awesome and so is Andrea (Andilynn Designs) Andrea is donating 2 prizes of her brand new kit Little Lovebirds.
As a posting bonus for participating, I will give you a bunch of "character scans". I have scanned in tons of characters and done the fun work of extraction. Some from stickers and papers and toy boxes, etc. Remember that these are all copywrite Disney and are for personal use only. For those that participate quickly, please be patient before your PM arrives, I have to gather and collect and so forth.
Coincidentally, the WL lo I did yesterday fulfills all the requirements, except the ribbons. But I cheat, so here it is for inspiration!
I made the little arrows. It's plain, I was in a really big hurry!
