DIS DIETERS week beginning 4TH JUNE...

Hey gang :wave2: . Can I join your jolly little group? I've managed to put on 2 1/2 stone since last January :scared: . Half a stone per holiday last year (January, April and October), another half a stone over Christmas and half a stone since - just because I was fed up about the whole thing and stopped caring! :teeth: Anyway I started dieting on Tuesday last week after coming home from the DIS Meet and I'd lost half a stone by Sunday. My weigh-in days are going to be Thursdays because I go on holiday on a Thursday in August. I'm going to have to stay really focused to lose another 1 1/2 stone by then (which is my target), but I know I can do it with your help. :goodvibes

I have lost 4lbs this week again, making a total of 8lbs in 2 weeks :woohoo:

I am really chuffed so I'm now aiming to lose another 7 lbs by the end of June.

I know Nat - I didn't talk half as much on the phone last night and ended up eating a packet of crisps :rolleyes:

not sure which is the cheapest option Joh, phoning or eating crisps?

Thanks, Nat :) . I'm not following a diet as such. I eat quite healthily anyway, so it's more about portion control and giving up the booze! Luckily I'm not particularly interested in things like crisps and chocolate. It's more cheese and butter that are my downfall. When I start a diet I start craving mashed potato with loads of butter, or big chunks of bread with cheese. Obviously I don't expect to carry on losing at such a fast rate, but I'm hoping I can lose 2-3lbs a week. I'm also trying to do more exercise. My usual routine boils down to walking to Tesco once a day :rotfl: . I've been trying to do 30 minutes dancing a day because it's something I enjoy so it doesn't feel like exercise. My job involves sitting in front of a computer all day, so I really do need to get off my backside more if I've got any chance of losing 1 1/2 stone in 10 weeks.

I'm afraid to say I put on 0.5lb - I blame it on a family bbq on Sun and Legoland with McD on Mon!:guilty:

Well I've lost 1 pound this week, which I'm actually happy with. I went out for lunch on Sunday and pigged out a bit on Sun night, I also did no exercise over the weekend. I have been really good these last few days though:thumbsup2
I have also lost 3 inches (1 from Chest, 1 from waist and 1 from my hips):woohoo: I guess these early morning elliptical sessions are paying off.
I too want to lose about 1 stone and a half before my wedding in August, so I guess there are a lot of us in the same boat.

I lost 1lb this week, I have been ill for a few days, think i've got a viral thing as i seem to be in my own little world, whoozy and and not really with it! getting better as trhe days go on though :thumbsup2

Now I lost 4lb and I haven't been 'to the gym' for ages ;) Imagine how much I would lose if I could get some gym time in :rotfl:

I have lost another 1lb this week which I'm delighted with! :woohoo: I've eaten a lot of chocolate this week plus I've just started trialling a drug designed to keep my psoriasis under control and I wasn't sure how that would affect my weight but so far so good... :party:
