DIS Dieters thread w/c 11th October

well done everybody, great losses! have been working my butt off to try and get these 18 lb shifted. am very chuffed to report that I have lost 6lb in the last 2 weeks so am on my way.
am being very strict with my diet and limiting to 1200 calories per day and have managed 4 out of 5 days at the gym, it's not easy and I am craving a really good take away but it's worth it if I keep getting results.
fingers crossed the losses continue for everyone. :-)

I saw a pain specialist on Wednesday at my pain clinic appointment, and have been banned from the Wii fit for the next 6 weeks at least!:confused3
Apparently, I need to retrain my brain, as if I had suffered a stroke, and can't really do anything other than step ups and a specific arm thing that she gave me, for a while. It seems I have been overdoing it and I have to slow down.:confused:

Not sure what this will do for my efforts to lose weight? But at least she told me that I won't end up in a wheelchair afterall, if I do as I am told.:cheer2:

Well another week and it looks like the dieting and kicking my a$$ in the gym is working. I have dropped 2lbs this week which is better than I have done for a long time, I have just been maintaining for a few months. I have ran 15k this week during my 3 gym sessions and the 5k's are starting to get easier. 2 stone lost now, big wows, I cannot remember being this weight before.

So here is hoping for another good week, long week of nights ahead so maybe just one trip to the gym but must stick to my points.

It looks like you'll have to try the sensible eating approach for a while to help you lose weight Sid :wizard: Good luck and take it easy, then hopefully in a couple of months you can get back into execising again ~ take care :hug:
