DIS DIETERS THREAD ~ May '11

I put on 2lbs over the uni easter holidays, but last week I decided to put weight watchers aside and started doing the South Beach diet, and this week I have lost 5lbs!!!! I'm so pleased, only another 7 to go before I'm the weight I want to be for my wedding dress fitting in July :cool1:

well after an amazing 2 weeks in disney world on the quick service dining plan i have put on 7lbs!!!! :confused3 dont know how i happened as i ate lots of cake, jello, crisps, choc, etc!!!! lol :lmao: so basically i know exactly how it happened!!!! oh forgot to mention the mickey ice creams, the dole whips oh i could go on!!!! But i am more than happy with a 7lb gain as it could have been so much worse.

So i had lost 84lb but with the 7lb gain that has dropped to 77lb. I am now 12st 4lb and aiming for 10st 7lb at the moment and will then set a new goal when i get there if i am still not happy. Weigh in isnt until monday and i am starting the diet tomorrow so i may shift a little before then.

At last a loss! It's amazing what a difference actually following the diet makes!!

Loss this week 2 lbs. Total loss 30.5 lbs.

I have another 3.5lbs off so am just 1lb away from 3 stone off since Jan. Was pleased this week so have just had some chocolate as a little treat!

Well done on the losses so far for May :) Hopefully with the prospect of the summer weather coming up it will keep us all motivated.

Ive managed to lose another 2lbs over the last 2 weeks. Making my total loss so far 39lbs/ 2st 11lbs.

I now have just 1.5lbs to reach my goal weight and that coveted WW gold card ive been trying to get my hands on :)

I put on 7lb:cool1: in the three weeks over easter:scared1:......but I did have a lovely time:rotfl:

anyway, I weighed today and I lost 6lb this week.....I'm sooo pleased, still have to loose that extra lb plus alot more but it's got me thinking more positivly again. I'm now ready to face another week dieting....:cool1:

No loss for me this week, stayed the same so still 1lb away from 3 stone off - wasn't suprised that there was no loss but at least I didn't put on really must try harder! :laughing:

I haven't done my usual Friday morning weigh-in, I'll start afresh on Monday, though I am back to Zumba tonight, and boy do I need it :rolleyes:

I've lost 3 stone but need to loose another 3:rolleyes1......off to circuits this afternoon:thumbsup2

I'm not sure i'm going to reach my target before our trip but I'm back to working hard, so aslong as I'm still loosing I'll be happy.

Well I braved the scales this morning and I have got 2lbs to lose to reach my 'happy weight' but between 5 & 7lbs till I reach my 'holiday weight'.

Thankfully I'm back to 3 zumba classes this week (though sadly only 1 next week due to half term - blooming kids :lmao:)

I'm back in the this week - my weight has crept up by 4lb, which is 4lb above the stone I was already overweight - so now its nearly a stone and a half :sad1::sad2:

When I was away getting my shoulder worked on the rehab house had 3 cooked meals a day, with puddings galore - and despite spending an hour in the gym every day and being good 90% of the time, I still put on weight!

I cant seem to "diet" and "exercise" at the same time - when I exercise I eat more - justifing that i've earnt it!

So now I really need to do something - I'm not sure i'f ill go back to WW - I lost the first week, then stayed the same - so if there are any WW experts I'd love to know how to do it properly!

I know what to eat - just got to eat smaller portions really I think :rolleyes:

Well got back on the diet yesterday and its going good so far, had my official weigh in and she recorded me as gaining 5lb in the 4 weeks i havent been weighed by her which i am happy with (easter egg gate and a 2 weeks florida holiday so 5lbs is actaully a good result lol!). So i now have a total of 26lb to get me to goal and i am hoping i can do that in 6-8 weeks if i am good. I am hoping for a good loss this week to keep me motivated and i am looking forward to hopefully being at goal by my birthday in mid july!!!
