Just a few pics from DIS CON of the "Riddle Me This" group that I was fortunate to spend time with. Such a great group of people... fun online.... and VERY FUN in Real Life!
Gina2000 and Oldkicker - being kind enough to stop long enough that I could get their picture!
Being with these two can make a person SQUIRRELY!
Sitting on the bench outside of Wolfgang Puck's at Downtown Disney. Left to right... Vanessa (amid chaos), Bernie (Oldkicker), Gina (gina2000), and Kim (Snowwark). Standing in the back ... is me.
I think Gina is pointing something out to Bernie?! And Kim is ordering us up a limo... "make it a stretch!... no... make it a SUPER stretch!" LOL!
Bernie's FIRST dolewhip! He wanted it to look like he was going to share - so he put a bunch of spoons in it.
Gina and Kim on spaceship earth... they were in the car ahead of us.... which explains how "ROME WAS BURNED" .... they just got there ahead of us and started the party early! LOL!
An evening at Jellyrolls (I "borrowed" this pic because I did not have my camera that evening!). In the far left corner with her back to us is Gina. You can see my foot and my beer (dodged the camera again! YES!!!). Next to me is Bernie, then Rob (TXTIGGR). Spent alot of time with Rob but did not manage to get many pictures of him... but I think this one is really nice! Next to Rob is NancyIL who I also got to spend alot of great time with (she needs to join the morning riddlers - hint, hint
)
Another fellow who pops into the morning riddle occassionally... Dan Murphy himself. He had that camera going almost nonstop.
Lots of silliness went on! Most of us did the Grand Floridian Tea... which naturally calls for "royal" attire! Bernie got in the spirit and not only brought his own tiara... but brought some for other's to wear. In fact, he helped me shop for mine - a lovely blue Cinderella number! In the background is SSB and I believe Marsha (Mackey Mouse).
Several other riddlers were with us as well - snoopy and Marla Hellewig & Norah (daughter of amid chaos) - but unfortunately I did not get a picture of them! We also made phone calls to Breezy_carol and to yepod so that we could have them share in the fun too! My only regret is that I wish ALL of the riddlers could have been there. The place would have NEVER been the same! LOL
I will just end this post by saying....
There is truly no experience as WONDERFUL as meeting folks you have come to respect and care for here online at the DIS. It was made even better by a combination of beautiful Florida weather, great food, LOADS OF LAUGHTER, and the whole of WDW to play in! Who could ask for more!?
