This thread is quiet but so hopefully everyone is doing well
smiley - hope you are enjoying Canada Day
Happy early 4th of July to all and hope everyone has a good week end. I have grilling, reading and teacher prep in the plans. Low key stuff for sure.
We got our ac fixed and it was only 2 parts so that was great. Ds3 took pity on my non airconditioned state and took me to see Finding Dory and we went out for lunch one day last week on one of his days off. We bumped into our pastor and another guy at lunch.
My future medical stuff is neck sonogram, mammo and lots of dental stuff I am sure. ugh.
GAGWTA. Have a great week end ladies.
our sleepy little seaside town is actually having fireworks down on the waterfront tonight for the first time! well first time for Canada day, the local first nations put on a huge display every year on halloween, which just happens to be the day of their independence as a self governing nation, so it's really for that, and it's beautiful, but it's pretty chilly then! we can see them from our back deck though. hubby and I will walk down and watch tonight, hopefully the weather will be ok, yesterday was so sunny and warm, we sat outside till quite late, this morning it was raining! thankfully it stopped for the parade, and the sun is out now, but there are plenty of clouds around! I was really looking forward to sitting right at the beach in the warm and watching them! We live half a block from the main park in the town, and there is so much going on there, it's nice to hear all the people having fun and the music and such. glad your air conditioning got fixed so easily!
my medical stuff is over for a few months, back mri showed all the degeneration but at least the disks have mostly healed up from my injury last summer. I've been told though, to be very careful because they are still bulging, and I can injure them again very easily. I've lost 18 pounds since last summer and that they said, has helped with the healing a lot, and will help with me not having as many future problems. Dental check up went really well too so that was a big relief after having to have so much done over the past 3 years or so. I am still so tired though, I am guessing still from the horrible flu we had. I wish my immune system had recovered better from the cancer treatment, but it is what it is.
our daughter is doing really well, says she is happier than she has been in years, so I really hope she has turned a corner in her life journey and doesn't have to go through anything like she has again.
an early Happy 4th of July to everyone!

I am seeing the surgeon tomorrow for possible biopsy. Like TMM I have had a really bad time with lymphadema on my whole right side. I am praying it is just a bad bout with that because it got hot, and I havent been feeling well. I woke up one morning to a swollen inflamed breast, the one I had the 2 limpectomys on. I went to the dr in panic mode on friday and she was not happy, and arranged for me to see the surgeon asap. My white lymphocytes are way down too. Over the weekend the inflamation calmed and the swelling went down and the bad bruising is turning yellow so I am praying it is not inflammatory breast cancer! Today it looks a little worse again, but I am feeling worse too. I hope to know more tomorrow. I couldnt get into my oncologist till the 29th but depending on what the surgeon says they may fit me in sooner. We have 2 of our grand daughters staying with us right now and its a real struggle to try and be happy and not worried. I will come back and let you know what they tell me. Tmm I feel really bad you are having such a bad time.
