Hi all, I read a post that I think someone mentioned there is a way to signify that you a re a dis boards member staying in that room... we will be at POR Oct 12-17 and wanted to know if this is true. Anyone else down there these dates?

Lime green is the color of the DIS. You could make something in Lime green with a mickey head and mention the DIS.

Hi Colomouse!

I will be at BWV Oct9-14, and then at POR Oct 14-16, so look for the lime green mickey on my door or back pack! :wave2:

I know over on the Cruise Line forum, they come up with ways to identify themselves by putting things on the outside of doors. They may have some ideas that you could use.

Not sure if this helps, but I made a large lime green mickey from bristol board to put on our window. I've got my dis name on it.

A lot of posters go to Home Depot and get the lime green Disney paint chip--it's already in a Mickey head shape! :paw:

Yup the lime green mickey head from Home Depot and some magnetic backing from a craft store works great.

Silly question ... Home Depot has 2 different paint chips that I would consider "lime green". Which is the one that most people use ... "Alien Green" or "sonic Boom" (which I think of Buzz Lightyear when I see it) ? I think the Alien one is more lime green, but I like the other colour better :teeth:

Thanks! I had some in our window at POP in Aug, and I did spot one on a backpack so I asked her if she was from the DIS. Thank goodness she was, otherwise I never would have asked again ... the day before, there was a lady in line for the bus with lime-green scarves tied all over her stroller so I asked her because it seemed so obvious she MUST be one of us ... NOPE!
