Dis-Board Green Ribbon?

Well, I've search this site up one side and back down the other. I can't figure out what this is...
I read it in another post, but I had no clue what it was for. I mean, I kind of figured it was to mark out the members of the site while at Disney, but I'm actually not sure what it is and where I can find info about it.
So any help would be great appreciated!

You figured it out. It is to identify other DISers while at WDW. If you see someone with a lime green ribbon just say hi. I was at WDW 6/30 - 7/7 and didn't see a single lime green ribbon.

Is it just a plain lime green ribbon? Or does it say something? And is it something that people can just buy anywhere or is it specific? Maybe if there were a post on the community board giving members a heads-up on this, more people would have them at Disney! It's an awesome idea, but I had no clue and I would have just went to Disney completely clueless!

It is craft store lime green ribbon the kind you can find on sale for .99 cents. I tyed it on my hat band,my back pack,and pinned some to my shirt,and tyed to all our luggage. I still didn't see anyone with lime green ribbon even though I met up with 2 DIS meets!!

In addition to the ribbon, DISers are now heading to Home Depot to find paint chips in the shape of Mickey's head. The two colors being used are Alien Green and Sonic Boom. I think Alien Green is the first choice. (Could be wrong.) People are writing their screen name on the head, laminating them and pinning to packs, hats, etc. HTHs!

PS. I have a suspicion that the DCL cruisers use this form of identifcation more readily than WDW goers. Of course, it's easier to spot a ribbon on an enclosed ship than in WDW! Have fun!

We went to Home Depot to get our Mickey Paint Samples in the green but they were all out. We matched another paint sample to the color everyone is using. Not exact, but close, so I brought those home and used the Mickey Sample and cut out some, laminated them and bought the self adhesive pin backs from WalMart to stick them on with. I'm gonna wear one and put one on my backpack. Made a few extras just incase I needed them.
