Great idea marcm. I'm the mom to an Aspie- he is 17 and doing great but we've had some tough times along the way.

I'm not sure how the room would go- but maybe it can be made part of the DIS Kids teleporter network so that others can get in who may need to.

We are talking about asperger's syndrome right? If so, then I am an asperger, and a brother to one as well.

As mentioned on Casualty once "Some people think of Aspie as a curse; others think of it as a strength". I think of it as a strength, so I can see the world in a new way!

I used to get in class support, but when I left school the county council said that I couldn't get support for some reason so they discontinued my statement of special needs. The learning support at our college is campaiging to get it back though.

The county council also said that if I didn't stay at the college at my school, then I can't get support. Wierd huh? I stayed anyway, but for an entirely different reason.
