DIS Angels

There is a thread on the Cruise Line Board titled "Thank You Disney Angel in Disguise for Nate and His Family". This is a very heart-warming thread about the kindness and giving spirit of the people that frequent these boards. (The original story begins on a thread titled "Special trip, need lots of info pls.")

If you have time, you may want to read it. Nathan's story will make you put all of your problems into perspective.

I was just coming to post something similar. I have been lurking around the Cruise Boards, drumming up ammunition to convince DH we NEED to take a cruise.

I was involved in a very special DIS project last summer, so I know how amazing these are.

I agree, everyone, they are 2 great (GREAT) reads.

I am so impressed by what the disers and the "angel" have managed to accomplish for Nathan and his family in such a short time. I wanted to share it with others that may not frequent the cruise board.

There are so many needy children, if the foundation had more donations then the wonderful Disney angel would not have had to intercede. My family has sent off a sizeable donation to the foundation and I encourage more people to do so. If enough people give than I bet verandas could be a standard. I was in tears reading the whole story. Even my teenagers were looking over my shoulder to see how it all turned out.

Thanks Ann for the WishingWell link. I always try to do something special around the holidays in memory of my little angel in heaven - and now I know what I will do this year!
