Is there an email for DVC customer service I can sent photos of our villa to. We are new to DVC (joined in early 2010)........this was our first experience with staying on property with our points and I was less than impressed. We brought my parents with us and were embarrassed when we went to our 2 bedroom villa (AKV)and the bedroom they were staying in had not been touched (dirty towels, unmade beds, a toilet that REALLY needed to be flushed/cleaned!). My 43, but felt like a dumb kid in front of my mother when I opened the door to show them where they were going to stay and………………..:sad2:

We were given a two bedroom once when the studio portion wasn't cleaned. I just called the front desk and and things were taken care of. Somehow the room was released before it's time. Things like that are best taken care of then and there, but Member Satisfaction team would be who you contact.

Call housekeeping an ask to speak to a supervisor.

While you are there, go down to the Front Desk and speak to a Manager. Calling on the phone gets you to a call center off site and talking to a CM, seem like they don't care.

You also need to send a email to the DVC Satisfaction Team @ dvcmembersatisfactionteam@disneyvacationclub.com

Mistakes do happen and in your case it was a big one. Talk to the resort manager and get it straightened out. They will take care of it as soon as you let them know.

I would hope that you did not stay in the villa and went directly to the desk and told them the villa was not ready to be occupied?! Errors do occur in assigning rooms and their readiness to be assigned....It has happened to us in 5 star hotels! It can only get resolved if it is reported immediately...previous post was correct..do not call..it goes to a central call center.not the front desk..you need to bodily go down there. I have been a member of dvc since 1994 and I can assure you this is not the norm.

So, everyone says not to call, but we did. We had an ADR to go to, and when we returned everything was great. Maybe it was housekeeping that we called, but that's what we did.

Calling will get you help if you call housekeeping, but you do need to go down to the desk and speak to them as well. I hope you got things straightened out and are now having a wonderful trip.

Just curious, did you speak to somoene when you were there? I would not have accepted a room like that under any circumstances! I would be upset as well but would have complained immediately.

It happens. It was likely that your room was released before it had been cleaned. A simple mistake. We were once given a room and when we got to it, there were actually people still in it! It happens....Disney did not expect you to accept a room that had not been cleaned. Honestly, I wouldn't have walked far enough to look in the toilet myself or take pictures. I would have seen an unmade bed and known that the room had not been serviced, left and returned to the desk for another assignment.

Ditto!

Of course it was a mistake, I cant imagine anyone thinking otherwise

Looks like the room was incorrectly listed as ready. I do hope you went to the front desk immediately. An email to MS is fine but really those pictures don't show anything other than a room mistakenly listed as clean/ready. It shouldn't happen but it seems like a simple mistake that could have been fixed in just a few minutes with a quick stop back at the front desk.

Exactly. The logical thing to do here is to go down to the front desk and tell them right away that your room was not ready for occupancy. We've had it happen at hotels on occasion, but never at DVC. It's nothing more than a unit being mistakenly listed as cleaned when it wasn't.

I agree, I would have gone to the front desk and informed them the room was released in error. People are humans, we make mistakes.

Another thought here - I'd much rather get a room that was incorrectly listed as clean/ready (like this one), than get a room that actually was cleaned but had been cleaned poorly.

Sitting in our wonderfully corN one bedroom villa at akl right now. Sorry it wasn't't perfect for you.
