I was thinking about possibly doing this the night before the wedding since our rehearsal will be a DP, but now I am thinking this might not be such a good idea, because even though our ceremony is at 5pm, the last thing I want on my wedding day is a hangover. So now I'm thinking maybe we will just do it a few days after the wedding and ask our bridal party, or any other guests who want to, to attend. I'm just wondering where everyone has gone if they ever did this before, has anyone created some sort of "drinking around the world guide?":lmao:

We are planning to do this 2 days before the wedding, in the afternoon. We're including our bridal party and they all are pretty aware that we don't want any massive hangovers for the rehearsal the next day. Besides, I think Disney is pretty strict about serving alcohol and not serving to people who are already drunk. We're going to incorporate 'eating around the world' to try to help prevent any major hangovers.

It'd be fun to go through the Passporter and maybe create a map of the different places that you want to check out :)

I have always wanted to drink around the workd, but on my few attempts, I've always been too full by the third location. Not too drunk, too *full*. Maybe the key is to share the drinks?

I think it sounds like an awesome thing to do with your bridal party but not the night before the wedding or even the night before the night before the wedding!

It's a fantastic idea and Disney will serve you as long as you're not hammered and making a scene. My brother in law did this around Epcot and made it to 11 countries before our dinner reservations in Germany! I don't recommend it the day before the wedding but it's a really fun idea.

I really think this would be a great idea to welcome people....especially if your party is more adults.

You don't even have to drink alcohol...just going for appetizers or something around the world would be nice with a group of people.

We are doing this 2 nights before the wedding. I hope to start around 6pm and incorporate eating around the world into it as well as I'm a light weight when it comes to alcohol! Would be fun to do the passport as well and maybe hats around the world for the photos!!

We are doing this as well 2 days before our wedding. We will definitly be eating here and there along the way though to make it a bit easier. Our rehearsal isn't until 3:30 the next day so i figured people can sleep in and go for a swim and that usually cures just about anything.

We will be doing this the day after the wedding. One of the bridal party gifts is a ticket to the food and wine festival at Epcot and we will be drinking our way around the world. Fun and relaxing!

OH I LOVE THIS!!!! What an excellent idea for a nice gift!!!!

We're planning on drinking around the world after the wedding. We're having a morning ceremony in Epcot and brunch reception at LSS. After a little break we're heading back to Epcot to drink/eat around the world and watch Illuminations. We're telling everyone who's down for the wedding the plan and to join us if they want! I'm goint to try to come up with a map or info paper of some sort to put in the welcom folder.

We are planning on doing this the day after the wedding, but the day before the MK shoot. I don't plan on getting really drunk, maybe sharing drinks, and we'll be starting early. It's the only day that really works. I did get a drinking around the world "passport." PM me if you are interested.

Also ours is during Food and Wine so there's no way we can make it to all the countries!

My DF is planning on taking his groomsmen a couple days before the wedding as part of their gift, while I'm taking my bridesmaids to the spa for a little TLC. :goodvibes

We will be doing this the last day before our honeymoon is over.... but not overdoing it to avoid a bad ride home ;)
This is our only shot without the kids...so gotta see how many countries we hit ;)

We decided to Drink Around the World the night before our wedding with our bridal party and friends since it was the only day that really worked. We basically did an abridged version before our dessert party in the UK and started with margaritas in Mexico, plum wine in China and then did the Wine Walk in Germany, France and Italy, sake in Japan and worked our way to the UK but didn't stop at each pavilion since we had to make it to the dessert party.

I definitely would recommend the Wine Walk as part of Drinking Around the World if you don't want to drink too much but still want to have a good time. Plus you get the Wine Walk passport so you have a nice memory of the event.

Expect a PM shortly! I think we are also going to do it one of the days afterward the wedding. I'm all about not having to stress about someone getting sick or eating something that doesn't agree with them.
