So I've determined from looking through the threads that the best route from AoA to the boardwalk would be to take the bus to HWS and then walk. My only concern is about which way to go? I would hate to get lost!

I've looked at the map on Disney's website and it kind of looks like the pedestrian road that follows the water gets interrupted by a major road (E Buena Vista Dr.). Is that true or just a flaw in the representation style? I don't know how comfortable I would feel crossing a major road at night after an evening at the boardwalk.

Is there an easier way to get there using Disney transportation?

There is a pedestrian pathway to follow from DHS to BW. Its easy to spot, just start walking that way. It takes you underneath Buena Vista Drive.

You could take the Boat from DHS to the boardwalk.

If you'd rather walk, use this map: http://www.stitchkingdom.com/maps/index.php?showmap=13

That map is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!!!

Wonderful! I was wondering if maybe it went under the road. I'm so glad to hear it does. Thank you!

When you leave DHS, head towards the canal. the boat dock with be down a slight hill, to your left. The walkway to BW will be on the right. Walk along the sidewalk, canal on your left, parking lot on your right. You will come to a spot where the path goes down a small slope, to the left. there 'should' be signage there saying it's the walkway to BW. The walk takes about 15 mins.
If you choose to take the boat....the ride itself is about 20 mins, but when you add in wait times, that can take close to 45 mins.
OR....you can take a cab from AoA/Pop over to YC/BC/BW easily. It takes about 8 mins and costs about $10 or so.

Thank you! I might just print this post and take it with me :thumbsup2
Really only 8min by cab? That's sounding like a very tempting option - especially for getting back late at night.
