We're staying at Boardwalk, so will be entering Epcot from the back entrance. I would like Soarin' to be our first ride. Can someone please give me very detailed directions to get to Soarin' from that entrance? That includes which side I should get into (left for standby and right for fastpass, or the opposite). Thanks in advance!!

It's our first time staying at Beach Club so coming into Epcot from the back entrance is new to us, too. Anyone out there that can help us out with the quickest way to get to Soarin'?

If you are entering from World Showcase, stay to your left through World Showcase. Keep walking until you get to the front of the lagoon. Also, when you get to the front of the lagoon, you can take a path on the left that will lead you to the side of Future World where Soarin' is (The Land Pavilion). Once you get to the pavilion, the CMs will most likely make everyone go to the right. I find it faster to take the stairs down and go to the right to Soarin'. The FP kiosks will be to the right...the main ride line straight ahead.

Epcot's INTERNATIONAL GATEWAY:

Once you enter the International Gateway, go up the hill. When you get to the top, turn left and walk past Great Britain and Canada. After you round the right curve and just past the rest rooms, take the path to the left that goes through the rose garden. That will take you to Future World. Imagination will be the first pavilion on your left and the Land, where Soarin' is, will be the second on your left.

Enjoy! Soarin' is my favorite ride; my parents rode it into their 80s, and I'm convinced that Walt would love it too. :wizard:

Enjoy your stay at the Boardwalk. That is our home resort thru DVC. Awesome Place. Enjoy

Remember the old "left, left, left right left" marching song from Army movies?

Yeah, that. Sing it whenever you get to a fork in the road.

Enter the IG, left at the top of the hill toward the UK pavilion, left after Canada to go through the rose garden, left toward the Future World pavilions, right to veer past the Imagination pavilion, and then left up the hill to the Land.

Easy peasy! ;)

I stayed at the Yacht Club once (August 2009) and BOOKED IT over to Soarin' one morning...I'm fairly young (26 on that particular trip) and in pretty good shape. The line was already long (20 min. wait) when I got there because I had so much further to walk than folks coming in through the front gate (as you can see by the picture a few posts above).

If you want to be among the first on the ride, my advice would be to drive around to the front gate of Epcot and enter through the main entrance.

I believe they have changed the entry procedures since your last visit, so that scenario really doesn't come into play. Just get there at RD.

OP- really good detailed instructions for you with the PPs. But if you're at the IG at RD all you have to do is stay towards the front of the pack and follow everybody else. They're pretty much all headed to the same place. ;)
