I coming in on I-75 and then on the Florida turnpike to I-4 to Disney. Which exit do I take off of I-4 to Pop?

Thanks

You can use any exit for getting to Pop Century when coming off Interstate 4, however the one that would be closest for Pop Century is exit 64B. Once you get off that exit keep going straight and you will see the signs for Walt Disney World which you can't miss.

Actually the most direct route to Pop from I-4 is to take exit 65 which is Osceola Parkway. (I believe the signs recommend this exit for WWoS and DAK). Once you take the exit, follow the signs onto WDW property. At the first traffic light, turn right onto Victory Way, then at the next light you come to make another right into the resort itself.

I have just read on another board :rolleyes1 that it is quicker and easier to take a new road to wdw, the western beltway. I have asked about it on the transportation board here and am waiting on responces. From the map on floridaturnpike.com it does look to be closer.

Yes, Western Way is easier from the turnpike. You take the turnpike to SR429, which is also a toll road. It will be marked for Tampa. You will pass through a toll booth, and then pass a couple exits. Then you will see the exit for Hartzog Road/Disney World. Exit and turn left at the end of the ramp. You will drive under one of the big Disney signs in about a mile. The road will dead end at Buena Vista Drive. Turn left. Go past World Drive, past the Epcot resorts/MGM traffic lights. At the next light, Victory Way (there will be a fire station on the left), turn right. You will see the entrance to Pop in about a quarter mile. Pop will be on the left.

yea you want to take tollroad 429 - it is alot quicker. the toll on 429 is a $1.00 for the turnpike it is $2.50.

western way drops you off between All Stars and CSR.

you can turn right and go under the bridge - turn right - Osceloa Parkway -

at the next traffic light turn left Pop Century (WWoS is on your right).

on florida tourism has put up a bunch of signs saying to take the old exit. Ignore them.

Not to hijack the thread  but how do i get to contemporary from Western way?

turn left - when you see the sign for the MK turn left - then just go through the MK main entrance - tell the toll booth CM that you are going to the Cont.

then immediately get in the far right lane (this is the only one that goes to the MK hotels)

Not to be difficult but where do I turn left? ;)

sorry from Western Way - your turn left go pass the CSR - then maybe a mile - going over the bridge (this is where you turn left the second time)

I am still a little confused. When you exit off of 429 at the Hartzog Road/DisneyWorld Exit, do you turn left at the end of the ramp and drive under the Disney sign to go to the CR and Poly? Do you go as far as the dead end at Buena Vista Drive. I assume when you get that far that all resorts and parks will be marked but never coming in this way I want to be sure. Thanks.

Yes. You turn left at the end of the exit ramp, which takes you under the 429. The road goes straight for a little bit, then curves slightly south. It's when you get to the curve that you go under the Disney sign, so it's not visible from the 429 itself.

Western Way dead ends at Buena Vista Drive. Buena Vista Drive goes by Blizzard Beach (to the right at the dead end), Coronado Springs Resort, Epcot Resorts, MGM, Caribbean Beach Resort and ultimately DTD (all to the left). After you pass Coronado Springs, you will see an overpass coming up. That is World Drive, the main road into the Disney resort from Highway 192. Just past the crest of the overpass, there is a traffic light so that you can turn left and get onto World Drive. World Drive will take you up to the MK toll plaza, which you go through to get to CR, Poly, GF, WL, and FW.
