I need REALLY easy directions to Hoop Dee Doo revue. I need to give them to DH's family and none have ever been to Disney before. DH and I will be driving but everyone else is taking the bus so directions for both would be greatly appreciated.

thanks :)

We made the mistake of using just the buses to get there.....do not do this! It involved three buses and transfers and we ended up being 30 minutes late (it took us over an hour and a half)......needless to say I was stressing. The best way is to take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then, from there, take the boat to Fort Wilderness; two minute walk from the dock and you are there. Quicker, much less stressful, and a nice little cruise.

This is what the reservation guy told me to do. He made the same comment about taking the buses only too! Must not be the way to go. :lmao:

Where will they be coming from? For the most part, everyone is correct, the MK boat to FW would be best, but it depends where they will be first. If they are at one of the parks other than MK, then they would want to consider a direct bus to FW. If they are at Contemporary or any of the other monorail resorts, they may want to get off at the Contemporary and take the Contemporary - FW boat.

Also, you indicate that you need driving directions as well, where will you be coming from because that will also indicate the best way to get there.

Actually - I dion't agree. You do not want to take the bus to FW to go to HDDR. If you need to take a bus to a resort, go to Poly, GF, or Contemporary then take the monorail to MK, then the boat. The internal buses at FW to get you to Pioneer Hall are a nightmare - unless you plan on a 90 min travel time. Learned this first hand...:sad2:

If you are at a park other than MK, take the Contemporary bus and then board the boat to FW. If you're at MK, then take the boat over. If you're at a monorail resort, take the monorail to the CR and then boat over. If you're driving, you can drive to FW and then take the internal bus back to the HDMR, but it will take some time because it stops at stops on the way. If you're driving, I would use google maps or yahoo maps to get directions from start to FW.

By far the best way to go is boat though. If you're at WL, then you could take the walk trail from WL to FW. It's about an hour long, but is very relaxed...

or take the boat to the Fort

I have done as stated above. The WL has a MK boat and a boat that goes to CR and FW. The Hoop Dee Doo is close to the boat dock. A boat from either CR, WL or MK would most likely be better than a bus from anywhere.
